its boxing, the figthers have to hype it up to create interest in the fight. I think Haye has a great chance vs that giant oaf, he should be too quick for him.

Anyone see Mayweather vs Marquez? now that was a world class performance, Mayweather made a world class fighter look like a pub brawler, he was magnificent. I really hope him and Paquiao get to fight at some point that would be something special. :buttrock

anybody here hear of daren sutherland? won bronze in the olympics losing to degale (had beaten him 4 times out 5 before) in semis. he had a professional style with big punch and ESPN picked him out as one of the likely olympians to make it big in pros (holyfield only got bronze). He fought 4 fights, won them all by knock out and killed himself last week.

I cant really see anyone stopping Mayweather if he peforms like he has vs Hatton and Marquez, the guy literally dosnt look like he can be hit, his defence is impeccable. But i do think that Paquiao has it in him to ruff him up a bit, and take him out of his comfort zone so should be a very interesting encounter.

As a boxing fan i think that is true. Mayweather's defence is just too good. I call them wrong often but cant see manny beating mayweather. Just too strong and fast i cant see anyone beating mayweather seriously.

Im going by how i see him and how he is in the media and he seems to be to be very cocky and arrogant just like a lot of the average british boxers are right up until they get a proper kicking from a real boxer with real quality .

Nobody knows, mate. An unfortunate case - perhaps - of a young man for whom things just seemed to be too overwhelming. Perhaps it was the pressure of expectation, the "being away from friends and family"....who knows, but he seemed like a very sensible lad. I read an interview with him from a few years back in one of the papers here, round about the time he came back from his first stint in England, and he went back to finish school. He seemed to be a very articulate and humble guy, and a credit to his family.
Saddest thing is, he was due to meet a sports psychologist the day after he died, so who knows if this could have turned out differently....

Cant wait for tomorrow night Haye v that giant freak , Dont care how big he is ,im still going for Haye, If he lets Haye box an doest just maul him ,Haye will have to much for him, boxing skill wise like, Reminds me of when that big Russian fought Rocky,

Come on then the big fights tomorrow, saw the weigh in, Hayes looks tiny compared to him and there's a 7 stone difference between the two, so will David win the fight? or will Goliath kill him?

I fancy our david to win it myself, I think he'll be to quick to be dealt with. I quite want to see the little guy win as well. Even so it should be a crackin fight and I can't wait
