As for Gerrard and the lack of praise on this forum. Well, it's sort of like going to a strip club with your mates and the feature dancer is out on the stage. There's really no need to say, "Wow, now that's a nice pair of sweater puppies." It's obvious, she's gotta nice rack.

Gerrard is the best player at Liverpool and has been, and will be for another few years. Everyone knows this and it's probably one of the only issues that can't even be debated (in footballing terms). Good points have been raised though. I'm not one of them but some may have had and some still have a bad taste in their mouths regarding some off the field things and contractual / transfer issues. Maybe his personality does turn him off to some people. But others (me included) could give a flying ... over his personality and see the lad as what he is. A :censored:

The lads personality is fine, its just some people will never get Scouser's, and in turn we will never fully understand our colonial cousins ,an example of this being the current financial frailty them two B@stard's , have bestowed upon this club .

hmm interesting, at the risk of derailing the thread once again, what do you mean by get scousers. I know quite a few and you don't seem any different to the rest of us.

BTW I don't mean this as an attack I'm genuinely interested in what you mean.

BTW Mick I don't actually agree with you on this respect business, I don't think it's a case of him getting too little respect more the case of there being several players who get undeserved respect.

Well they are funny and outgoing, but so are a lot of my friends other than that nothing too different. I'm not a big fan of labelling people though. Anyway I'll drop it as I'll most probably just cause offence.
