Which player will benefit most.

Liverpool Football Club - General Discussion

Of all the regulars who were at the club before Rafa took over which one do you think will bebefit most from his style of play.
I would say that Steve Finnan will because Rafa likes his defenders and wide midfield players to use the wings and get crosses in and I have seen Finnan do this a lot for Ireland where as under GH he was always restricted to the more defensive role,Finnan is good in this sort of roll and I think we will see a new Steve Finnan this season in the red of Liverpool.
Who do you think will benefit most?.

Id say riise hes seems to be like a new player for us hes had a new lease of life who knows maybe he'll start scorin the odd goal again for us :;): And hes already stated hes happy with benitez's tactics. And understands what the manager and fans want and expect from the club.
There is no-one anywhere in the world at any stage who is any bigger or any better than this football club.

Houllier was a defensive minded manager so it was his fault in that Finnan was unable to show his true worth last season for Liverpool and under Rafa I think that we are now about to see just how good this player really is in both defence and attack, yes as a person I am not going to critisize GH but I will do so the tactics he employed.

I think that all the players will improve under Benitez's, but watch Jamie Carragher develop into a more complete player.

Houllier was a poor manager. Why did Moores put up with him for so long? Now we are improving as a team and we are starting to play attacking football.

A poor manager who wins a Uefa cup, an FA cup and two league cups.

Aswell as a charity shield and a super cup, havgin a team finish second and made some excellent signings.

I nearly rose to the post myself Stu as one of the only TWO people in this forum who respect and rate Houlier for what he achieved in his time at LFC but i thought you'd see it sooner or later and wouldn't be able to resist !!!!! :D

Yeah sounds about right, can't resist having a go at an ex manager.

Typical out of town fan there, no loyalty or passion for the club and its ex players and managers.

im sure there are more than two people here who still respect GH for what he did as LFC manager.I would find it hard to believe though you could find two people who believe he should still be Liverpool manager...............anyone? anyone at all?            :D

I'm not on about you Dalgish. I'm on about that inbred c**t.

Back to the main topic... Riise. Simply because he's looking the player we all know he can be. I think Kewell will benefit aswell, Hamann was impressive the other day and Carragher seems to be growing in presence and starting to become more like Sami which can only be a good thing.
