Liverpool Football Club - Games

I'm really not feeling optimistic about this season anymore. I'm just hoping we can grind out results til Aqulani is available
All round the fields of Anfield Road
Where once we watched the King Kenny play (and could he play!)
Stevie Heighway on the wing

I''d take off Insua and throw Babel on , take of masch and throw voronin on , push johnson up further upfield more as a winger and kuyt as a striker as well , which means we only have 2 defenders . Crazy Formation but we did it last season where we took both our full backs off and sometimes they played as wingbacks , only if we need a goal i'd go for this

                                    Reina

                         Carra                Ayala

Johnson                                                      Dossena
                           Gerrard        Yossi

Kuyt                       Torres       Voronin           Babel

lets hope it doesn't have to come to that  :D

Premier league winning Gung Ho formation  :D

.                      Reina
Johnson - Carragher - Kelly - Dossena
                 Mascherano
         Kuyt - Gerrard - Riera
                  Benayoun
                     Torres

That's what I would love to see if Riera is fit.
Dossena ahead of Insua,  for his physicality and is more of a threat with long shots .

Should be a comfortable win with this formation. Come on you redmen!

2-0 (Torres, Gerrard)

I dont know why but im nervous about this match tonight, Stoke will come with confidence after the results last year, they will be well up for this. I hope Benny plays tonight, we need a bit of trickery from him tonight, if Babel keeps his place after Sundays performance then I give up and am going to start watching woman's pool instead!

I think we will bounce back from our recent bad performance and win quite comfortably

reckon we'll knock the stuffing outa 'em.

The team has to stand up and be counted now after spurs disapointment. We can't drop any more points in the next 3 games. If we win tonight and the next 2 games we'll have more points than we did after 4 games last seasons.

I still believe in this team - prove me right red men!

7 - 1   (Torres 2, Gerrard 3, Benny, Kuyt)

...and if I see Babel on that pitch in a red shirt I'm gonna jump through the telly screen and tw@t rafa myself :D

10-0 for the reds (Babel 10), or he is out of the team.
Seriously, I am still optimistic, we lost to the Spurs last years and drew against Stoke. Now, we lost again against the Spurs, and all we have do is to win today to have a BETTER start than the last year so come on!!!   :D

In a bit of a conundrum about how to watch the game. I guess I have the following options:

1) try for a stream at work and watch it live. - Probably poor quality, probably not in English, probably will feel paranoid the whole time and wont spend much time looking at the screen. not the best video quality.

2) listen to the live audio via the e-season ticket. no paranoia as we are allowed to lisen to music, in english, reliable feed, no pictures  :(

1 and 2 and not mutually exclusive I guess

3) Wait till I get home and link my lap top up to my tv and watch it on LFC TV - don't get to watch it live, have to try to avoid learning the score, better than on a computer, but still not the best quality

4) wait till the match airs on tv in the US which isn't until 8:00 PM on Thursday according to my tv guide - best picture quality, will be hard to wait that long and not find out the score

I'd stick with the usual formation for this game, but put Benny on the left if Riera is not eligible.
