Liverpool captain Steven Gerrard said he was disappointed with his own personal performance during the 1-0 defeat at Bolton and added he will play anywhere for the team cause.
Gerrard said his best position is central midfield but understands that from time to time he can play wide right to help out the team.
Gerrard said: "Everyone knows I'd prefer to play in the centre because that's where I feel I offer the most, but I'm not someone who will sulk if I play down the right.
"I felt down at the Bolton game but that was because I was disppointed with my own performance. I knew I could do a lot better. My versatility could work against me in these situations, but I'll have a positive attitude no matter where I play for Liverpool.
"I'm sure the gaffer is going to rotate players around a lot this season and we'll all accept that. Everyone has to show the right attitude.
"The international break hurts us a lot more than other teams at the moment. We've hardly had a week to work with the manager since pre-season. I can imagine that must be very frustrating for him.
"When we were spending lots of time together you could see the good results. The international fixtures interrupted that. After a couple of defeats, we all wanted to get together and look at what went wrong, but we've had no time to do that.
"When you have a new manager it can take months before his work has an impact. The good thing from a club point of view is we have a month to work together now before the next international break.
"On paper we know the West Brom game is the kind of game people expect us to be winning, but we've seen in the past it doesn't always work out like that. I'll be looking for us to produce the same kind of performance we gave in the second half against Manchester City."
