I ran a bookies in Harlesden High St for about six or seven years when I was a young fella. Two actually at different times, I had one by the Jubilee Clock and one just down from the Royal Oak on the Harrow Road.

I admit the way he tries to talk like a black guy is a bit wierd but he has done a lot in terms of bringing hip hop to the forefront of radio in the UK. The talking thing is just part of his image. It's not hurting anyone at the end of the day and he is making money so more power to him.

you do realize there is no way to "talk like a black guy" that doesn't even make sense and is racist to say.

Not saying that you hate black people or think they are lesser or anything.

But even the idea that white people should only act "white" (which also doesn't even mean anything) is ridiculous.

It's actually not racist when black follks do have that certain flare and persona about them that they and they alone invented. It's their street culture so to speak. I know I don't live in America, but it's not that hard to see that the black communities there do have a uniqueness individual to themselves, so to mimmick that way of being without actually even growing up and being surrounded by that particular street culture is a litte bit daft and w@nkerish.
