I don't think you can really pick one... we need to be better than both man united and chelsea. Can't really discount Arsenal too. And everyone knows Man City has strengthened themselves tremendously...but the biggest threats are still man united and chelsea...

Absolutely Chelsea. It's the same team of the last season with the adds of Zhirkov and a very good coach since the begin. I think Carlo is at the same level of Hiddink and we watched how Chelsea trained by Hiddink was strong and pragmatic.

Chelsea most likely but will never count out scums.. Over the course of the season i feel man city and arsenal will drift away and fight for a champions league spot.

Unfortunatly Man United !!!!
Established strong side who although losing two world class players in Tevez and Ronaldo, have as usual bought really well in Valencia and Owen.
I cannot stand Fergie but unlike Benitez he gets his transfers done quickly and they make clear sense in relation to the rest of his team.

Ourselves
All round the fields of Anfield Road
Where once we watched the King Kenny play (and could he play!)
Stevie Heighway on the wing
We had dreams and songs to sing
'Bout the glory, round the Fields of Anfield Road

I agree with the ourselves comment to some extent as I feel that we are set up to win the league and if we don't we have under achieved.

But that wasn't the question.

It's Man United for me, unfortunately those scumbags will be bang up in the top2/3 all season and they can go the distance they have proved that far to often in recent years. I agree that losing Ronaldo is a massive loss to them but they will still be there or there about come May, I think Berbatov, Rooney and Owen will be able to provide the goods for them and they still have a good midfield and their defense will be as good as it was last year. Unfortunately Whiskey Nuts is to experienced to let things slip so much that they don't even contend. I hate the :censored: but they will take it right down to the wire IMO.

Chelsea will do the same as us last year, play well in the big games but struggle against the lesser teams and drop points whreScum and hopefully us will not.

Should be a cracking season for us all to watch and endure but at the end of it all all I want is the title and I think we will do it.  :buttrock

We are the biggest threat to ourselves because we have "fans" booing our own players, "fans" already saying we're not good enough before a ball has been kicked, "fans" getting ready to slaughter our style of play.
