I think we should give some players a chance. I think Voronin doesn't cut it and until he has proven to be good then he should be sold. Nemeth,N'gog.Pachecho and Babel should get more attention this season.

German league is shyte compared to England. Then again so is pretty much every league. But the fact that he did well there only means he is better of in a less competative league as oppose to over here. He had plenty of chances here and he fluffed too many chances.

FFS here we go again  :(
All round the fields of Anfield Road
Where once we watched the King Kenny play (and could he play!)
Stevie Heighway on the wing
We had dreams and songs to sing
'Bout the glory, round the Fields of Anfield Road

Benny was great last season anyway, I expect him to pick up where he left off. With this Torres injury thing, does that mean he won't be travelling to Russia?

We needed to add atleast two quality players even before Xabi & Arby left, all we have done is replaced the players we have lost and havent added anyone special, the yanks should put their hands in their pockets instead of being sly b@stards and paying the banks money out of our transfer kity.
There is no-one anywhere in the world at any stage who is any bigger or any better than this football club.

Liverpool boss Rafa Benitez admits he may have to speak to the club's owners in order to secure more transfer funds to improve his squad.

Benitez has more or less broken even in the transfer market this summer after bringing in Glen Johnson and Alberto Aquilani while selling Xabi Alonso, Alvaro Arbeloa and Sebastien Leto.

He is hoping to sign a new centre-half after Sami Hyypia left the club on a free transfer at the end of last season and has targeted Hull City's Michael Turner.

Hull value Turner at £12million, with reports suggesting Liverpool have offered half that sum and have subsequently been linked with Stoke City stopper Ryan Shawcross as a cheaper alternative.

Benitez concedes he has not been given the money to compete with other clubs, and may have to discuss the situation with the club's American owners George Gillett and Tom Hicks.

Difficult
"We are working hard with the players we have and the money we have," said Benitez.

"It is always difficult to compete in the Premier League with clubs who have more money.

"We had some money, but I will not talk about figures. It is something I have to talk with the club about.

"We try to be ready just in case we can sign someone, but you never know. It depends on the prices.

"If we need something more, we will talk with the owners."

It's not the kind of swap for even money that would make me feel confident.

Anyway I thought that the money we got back from Keane would be used at least this season.
