No he is not , and no he didn't. If you can't see WHY he is not, then I am wasting my time discussing it with you.

See this is what I don't get. I make a light hearted comment about Jesus moving in and people don't like it, fair enough.

But this  ??? Kuyt was "as important as any other other player on the pitch"  So he was as important as Gerrard, as important as Torres?

Don't be ridiculous mate. You've in that one comment rendered the whole discussion pointless.

:buttrock  :buttrock sorry mate but it's a daft statement. Not for the first time in your desire to stick up for all things Dirk, you've gone and got carried away. He had a good season by his standards last term, but don't be silly.

In your opinion it is mick but not in mine - only have to look at the winners and the important crucial goals he scored for us throughout the season to show how damn important he was for us . the goal against leige alone was massively important . so yes i do believe he was damn important for us last season , and we wouldnt of been as successful if he didnt play last season .

There's a backtrack there and so there should be. Nobodies denying that he wasn't important/had a good season, but he wasn't AS IMPORTANT AS ANY OTHER PLAYER ON THE PITCH.

You say it's a matter of opinion, it isn't unfortunately, it's a matter of fact. It's like me saying I'm a better goalie than Pepe Reina in my opinion, it renders my contribution meaningless as I've proven myself to be a numptie.

See my post above. I'm afraid you have just rendered any further discussion on this subject utterly pointless.
