Okay, what is your countries best ever team. As ireland doesn't have a long football history my country will have recent players but Enlish fans will hopefully think back before colour television.

Anyway, my team is

Shay Given, Denis Irwin,Paul McGrath, Kevin Moran,Steve Finan, Damien Duff(could play right wing), Roy Keane,Johnny Giles, johnny Carey, Robbie keane, Frank Stapleton.

Holy F*ck just noticed that 7 of them are Manure. I really only gave Giles the edge over Ronnie Whelan because I wanted another old guy in

No Aldo in Ireland?

No Wynalda or Lalas in USA?

:no

:D

Actually in Spain the best team of all time is the current one except for the back four in which I guess we could enter a Camacho or people like that. In the goal we had great keepers like Arconada or Iribar, but I think Casillas is just as good or better. Perhaps Michel would have a place in the team, and the likes of the Vulture Butragueño might be on the bench. But yes, I think the CM, and Strikers of Spain are the best of history, we never had quality strikers like them.

(I haven't considered the likes of Puskas because I'm too young to see him playing)

Who would you go for?
Gerrard, Gascoigne, Hoddle, Robson, Peters..? Scholes is right up there for me.
Lineker, Hunt, Keegan, Haynes, Hurst...? Again, Shearer right up there.
