I wish I was that.
Voronin may not be 1st choice quality for us but it's a bit ridiculous to suggest he has no footballing ability at all.

But the thing is tho surely it makes more business sense to cash in on him now after he has had a good season in the bundesliga were we would get more money for him but give him 6 months of sitting on our bench we will get frig all come January.

I agree, I'd rather we cashed in on him and either bought a replacement or tried the youngsters (including Babel) to give them experience.
The thing that was bugging me was people going over the top with criticism. The logic seems to be if he isn't Liverpool class then he must be completely abysmal with no ability at all.
He's a good player, not great. I'd rather someone else plays but if he does get games then it's hardly like a non-league player been tried.
Ideally he should be sold for a few million back to a German or Ukrainian team and we invest the money in another striker who can lead the line.
The ironic thing is that if Voronin is sold and is not replaced, some of the same people here will no doubt slate Rafa for selling him.
Edit: because I can't form sentences
