the bold games are local for me. I am going to watch Madrid, because I might never witness as much quality on one pitch at the same time ever in real life. Plus I can cheer for my home town club, and I get to go to FedEx which is the home of my beloved Washington Redskins and I don't make it out there as much as I should (well the season ticket waiting list is 20 years, and there are only 8 games a year, but my excuses are lame, its more to do with laziness and some to do with price)

Anyway I hope the summer proves to be a massive success and owners of domestic clubs get to realizing that Americans do not care about watching Americans, they care about watching the best play in America.

That sounds like some good matches, I get Liverpool, second string, against a very :censored: Norwegian team and being Norway they are asking about £80 for the privilege. I am really umming and ahing over this one, I think I'll just head over to Anfield and watch the proper team instead an extra time next season.

just got tickets to see Madrid vs. DC United for $95.

And I will be watching my national team for the first time in person tonight against Honduras.  Whats sad about USA "home" games is that the American fans are always in the minority of the supporters in the stadium

I'll post a mroe detailed account of my first time watching my national team play last night, but here is a preview:

there were TONS of LFC shirts being worn. Mostly Torres.  Far and away the most popular shirt. way more than Barca, Real, United combined.

Id never pay to watch Madrid teams full of arrogant people & is run by arrogant people

All theyve ever done is bought thier way to the top, thier history means nothing

Teams getting :censored:, new president gets elected, buys the best stars in the world, team wins trophies, starts to get :censored:, new president gets elected.....and so on
