great pic that mate, thanks for posting it! that is what i call brilliant news. Yossi will for me defo be challenging for a first team regular place this season, his attitude & commitment is un-questonable. an says a great deal for raffa aswell in the fact he has recognised yossi's contibution since he joined LFC.

for me he is under-rated, his team work, an creativity towards our attacking play is brilliant. he scores goals, creates goals & fights for his place! he gives us another option,an like i said in anothe thead -he would be a massive loss to the side if he left, so made up he has commited his future to LFC.

lets not get too excited by a few half decent games

More than a squad player now. Every reason to get excited by more than few full decent games.

Proved by his new contract offer. Rafa rates him.   :buttrock

if hes more than a squad player we'll never win number 19

What a ridiculous comment

I think your curly bonce is just a big empty space

How much did we sign him for 5 million ? Worth every fecking penny he'd be probably worth 15 million now , his goals last season were all crucial and he's the creative type of player we need in the squad .

I totally agree with that. Benayoun is one of those players that can come in and make the difference between winning or loosing. A lot like Little Luis but he produces on a regular basis.

his only problem is that he DOESNT produce on a regular basis... sometimes he seems to be our best attacking option in the side even with Gerrard and Torres playing and at other times you'd think Kuyt would offer more than he does in terms of creativity and contribution to attacking play... he did very well towards the end of last season but at the beginning of last season many were calling for him to be sold or kept out of the squad...

Good thing we renewed his contract though because he offers something we desperately lack when he's on form and playing well.. If he takes that form he ended last season with into next season i see no reason why he wouldnt-shouldnt- be in the starting lineup whenever fit and ready...

I made up a song, well it isn't mine my friend made it:

to the tune of the 'Gerrard song'

Yossi Benayoun
He's smaller than me and you
The ball sticks to him like glue
Yossi Benayoun :p

I think he's Ok and he did well in the second half of last season, but will always be a poor mans Luis Garcia for me.

???  ??? , Luis may have scored some spectucalr goals but it tems of consistency he's more inconsistent than yossi . Yossi doesn't lose the ball as much as him and is a better crosser , infact he's a better all rounder

the same Kuyt who was 7th in assists and 9th in goals scored in the Premier League ratings last season?

PL ratings 08-09

Without starting yet another pointless row isn't it about time the "We hate Dirk" bandwagon just admitted they were wrong and left the guy alone ?
