S@int whilst I agree with some of the points made there, as I said to you earlier "their" moderator could've lodged his complaint to the newkit moderating team/administrator via pm and waited 24 hours (not unreasonable) before going public with his whinge if he failed to recieve a satisfactory reply.

Personally the first I knew of the "complaint" was when I came home this afternoon and found a full scale inter forum skirmish in progress

I'm sorry s@int, I know you're never slow to have a bash at the mods in this forum (and some would say you have every justification) but in this instance in my opinion the mod from the other forum couldn't wait to air his grievance in public and despite what we may think of St Mikes actions, before you start criticising your own moderating team and newkit members you might just examine the attitude and part played by the mods and members from the other forum on this issue.

they didnt know that everyone on the forum knew he did that.. he was tried to inform everyone of Stmike's wrongdoing and thats why he started a new thread about it im guessing..
not like he was insulting or came out áll guns blazing' as you put it...

he didnt do much wrong as far as im concerned but then again..

He PM'd the Mods at about 12.30pm (according to Bob), he waited 12 hours before starting this thread. While we can argue about how long it is reasonable to wait, 1 hour, 12 hours, 24 hours, 48 hours etc etc. I think its reasonable to believe that a MOD had been on the site in that period.

A simple acknowlegement of his concerns would probably have saved a lot of time, trouble, argument and bad feeling. Even a simple PM to say that the matter would be looked into.

When he finally got his reply it was hardly of the kind to help the situation, more like throwing petrol on a fire.

Maybe its something that could be considered next time?

In my opinion I think he came with a genuine concern and was met with apathy, disdain and ridicule.If that is how you want this site to be represented, fair enough, there is nothing more to be said.

I don't deliberately set out to "bash the MODs", but when I think they are in the wrong I say so. Usually I am met with the same apathy, disdain and ridicule as the MOD from the other site was. So I do have some sympathy for him and anyone else who tries to raise issues of any kind with the Mod's.

If you bothered to read their thread you would realise that it was because of their members concerns that the Mod came onto our site in the first place.
