Bascombe C.unt fact . Rafa through him out of Melwood cos he talks sh!t . He's had it in for rafa ever since .. Works for the Sunday S*n fact .
Why are you quoting the SUNDAY S*UN on an LFC forum .

As I have consistently said, put him in a side that creates a lot of chances (like us, or the Mancs) and he will score goals.
If Rafa has a bigger/better player lined up then that is fantastic. If he didn't try to sign him because of some personal issue or grudge, and it turns he can still do it in the Prem and CL, then shame on him.
I don't doubt Owen would have come back to LFC if asked, so we didn't ask. If we go on to sign Villa or Silva, then whatever happens to Owen won't matter. However, if we start next season with Torres, Ngog and Voronin then we could be a laughing stock.
Oh yes, I suspect that the entire World will fall about at thoughts of Liverpool Football Club having NOT signed a consistently injured, self-obsessed nobody whom has played in a total of 76 matches in 4 years.
No doubt the laughter will intensify when they hear that this player* could not even get a game for a small club fighting relegation, despite his direct competition being a lazy Australian has-been...
*Contradiction in terms.

Of course you are 100% correct as ever Lando.![]()
Had he signed for us, he would be a better option up front next season than Ngog and/or Voronin. Fact!
In his situation, having begged Liverpool to take him back several times, and been blown out on every occasion, and then being faced with Stoke or Hull as viable options, I can see why he went to Utd....I don't agree with it, but I can see why. He has 2-3 seasons left in his career to win something.
If it is so bad, then why did Ince come to us, after his stint in Italy? He was still a Manc wasn't he? Why were we trying to sign Tevez...don't give me this "on loan" cr@p...he was a manc too.
I hate seeing him in a Utd shirt and I have always said we should have him back....he WILL score goals....just a shame it won't be for us.
I can only hope Rafa has bigger plans to solve our striker situation....god forbid Torres gets injured.
I look forward to you putting me right of course....![]()
