You want re-written scrap every episode? That is Fawlty Towers, it's Basil getting into a tizz, slap Manuel, have a barny with Cybil and make a balls up of everything. Although it's again very funny.

Porridge is my favourite sitcom, but it's not as well written as Fools and Horses. Blackadder is the closet thing to being as well written because it's so cleverly written.

Steptoe and Son
The Office
Extras
Auf Wiedersen Pet

They are quality sitcoms but still none come close to being as well written as Fools and Horses.

maybe it was the one off specials, eg the batman one that ruined it, flogging the dead horse

Men Behaving Badly is comedy gold. That is a very, very funny show.

my fol;ks never watched only fools so i was never brought up on it. watcehd things like happy days instead.. so missed the boat maybe but just never really got it

I loved only fools..but kinda agree with Dawson,its dated now..it was a classic in its day though!

I dont watch TV now though so I dont know if theres anything out there better..It was TV my mum and dad watched,funniest TV show ever??

ever,his dialogue and actions were great..he was a manic depressive as well(just to make GYBS feel better while sitting on the solent)

Only fools and Horses is the best sitcom to ever been written but they should of let it be when they got the millions off the antique thing cos since then it has been c rap but It would be interesting to see how the young Del boy would be betrayed and young Trigger and Dave sorry Rodney
