A shocking move for someone so closely associated with LFC, but I guess he is desperate to resurrect his career and probably can't believe his luck.

As I have consistently said, put him in a side that creates a lot of chances (like us, or the Mancs) and he will score goals.

If Rafa has a bigger/better player lined up then that is fantastic. If he didn't try to sign him because of some personal issue or grudge, and it turns he can still do it in the Prem and CL, then shame on him.

I don't doubt Owen would have come back to LFC if asked, so we didn't ask. If we go on to sign Villa or Silva, then whatever happens to Owen won't matter. However, if we start next season with Torres, Ngog and Voronin then we could be a laughing stock.

Not sure what has pi$$ed me off the most, that little tw@t Owen or Ace's comment about wishing Owen well and hoping he gets goals!!

Surely that fella can't be a red? Or perhaps he is but from the wrong end of the M62, if so he should feck off up there with his little traitorous pal! :no
