With the lack of depth in strikers at LFC and Baros and Cisse, not 'clicking' yet, and Wiltords experience of the EPL, Cisses comments on LFC website make interesting reading, do you think this would have been a good move for us?

Is he still available after being released from Arsenal??

Djibril Cisse has revealed how he tried to talk Liverpool manager Rafael Benitez into signing Sylvain Wiltord during the summer.
Wiltord left Arsenal on a free transfer at the end of last season and Cisse was hoping his close friend would team up with him at Anfield.

"I thought Wiltord would be joining Liverpool and I even tried to push through his transfer," Cisse said.

"I walked into the manager's office, and told him to sign Sylvain. I gave him his mobile number, and they talked together on the phone.

"But a deal could not be done, and I am disappointed - I felt I had not done enough towards it.

"Wiltord is like a big brother to me, and he could have helped me settle in. It would have been great for him to be over here."
