They have lost Ronaldo and Tevez and the replacements are Valencia and Owen. the players who have come in are worse than those who have left.

I just cannot believe how small minded and short minded some people here are. If we even hinted that we wanted Owen back he would have come running. The fact is Rafa had made his mind up when he arrived at the club that Owen would be leaving and he has never looked like changing his mind.

He left. His career has sufferred as a result. Why keep up this stupid hatred. Whats he supposed to do?? say no for :censored:

sake to Man United?

? one last big pay day? A chance to win the trophies he wants at the end of his career???

I wish him well. I have fond memories of the lad in Liverpool shirt and he was and will be remembered as one of the best finishers we have ever had.

Im sorry but can you picture Dalglish or Fowler doing this. I understand the guy wanting to move on fron Newcastle but he left us thinking we werent good enough and so what? we are supposed to welcome him back with open arms? I dont think so.

He could get just as much money playing for Hull, and god knows who else where in for him.

The most annoying thing about the Owen deal is the emotional attachment a lot of us have from all the years that he played for us. Combine that with the emotional hatred we have for United and it's easy to understand peoples feelings about the move.
