That run is now 23 wins in the last 32 games and just two defeats - Kuyt has played in 28 of those, he's clearly having a detrimental effect on the side, his lack of goals (always a major issue with the Kuyt Out Brigade) has cost us so badly. Had he scored four goals in the game against the mancs we'd have won! Just one goal against Chelsea in the CL second leg and we'd have gone through too - no doubt his penalty would have won us the shoot-out.

Get Kuyt Out! Get Kuyt Out! Get Kuyt Out!

  I guess people have all these complaints just because he's not stylish on the ball... I must admit he doesn't possess the technical abilities of a midfielder... but what I like about him is that he uses his head, works hard, and has decent shot and heading abilities...

good on ya son, fk the mancs right off!

The guy is a class act. Whan asked about about the rumours of Alonso leaving for Madrid he said:

"The white shirt is a huge privilege for players, but for me the biggest privilege in Europe is the red shirt of Liverpool."

Any player thinking of leaving us should take note. That above is EXACTLY the way you should all be thinking. :nod

Torres: Liverpool should sign Owen

Fernando Torres reckons Rafael Benitez should bring Michael Owen back to Anfield. Injury-prone Owen is a free agent and his management team circulated a brochure advertising him to Premier League clubs - and Torres thinks the former England striker is good enough to warrant a place at Liverpool. Owen scored 118 goals in 216 appearances during his eight-year spell at Liverpool but following a move to Real Madrid and then Newcastle, his career has steadily gone downhill.

The Toon striker is looking for a new club as he searches for a place back in the England team. And Torres says with Owen available for free, Benitez would be mad to turn down the chance of signing him.

"I know that he is a big part of the history of this football club and that the fans at Anfield loved him," Torres said.

"I have no idea where he will be playing next season, but I am convinced that he still has a lot to offer.

"He has been unlucky with injuries in recent years and I know how frustrating that can be, but he has a natural instinct in front of goal and you don't lose that just because you have been injured."
------------

I don't think this is a recent story but still it would be good if he could stay injury free. And whats the brochure nonsense all about? Wtf

Torres is a class act, love the guy. He's one of a very small minority not motivated by money but by ambition. He is destined to win the Prem with us I reckon.
