Totally agree with you BM. I wish Rafa could bring him back to LFC. I'm sure with SG and Carra's help etc, he could get a little bit back to what he used to do for us.

for those anti's this guys a HERETIC  :D

He has gone down greatly in my estimation! I was 6 or 7 when he made his debut, and idolised him whilst i played down at Forest for a good few years. If/when he comes to Anfield i suspect a mixed reception will greet him.

What, did you play for Forest mate or am I reading that wrong?

Owen did well for us and scored some very important goals. However, his career went downhill after he left Anfield and no one can argue against this. He might score a few goals for man u but then again if you planted a tree in the 6 yard box at OT, then the odds are that the occasional crossed ball would hit off it and go in to the net... I'm unduly concerned that he has signed for man u. Just compare against how you would feel if Torres went there.... Owen going to OT is a big fat nothing and the news should be greeted with a collective yawn from all Pool fans!

The way he stiffed the club over his move to Real totally disgusted me but with this latest action he has shown how little respect he has for the great club that made him what he is.

I have never booed a returning red but I will give him dogs abuse when he comes to Anfield and I hope there are 45,000 other discusted voices with me!

Hopefully this will put an end to some of the deluded characters on here clambering for Rafa to re sign the dog!

Actually I like the idea of Owen scoring own goals (especially against us :-), and being paid by the Mancs..:D  If he ever was  a true Red.

Obviously, in their youth setup.

I started there when i was 7 and finished at 11. I couldn't make getting over to Notts twice a week and every weekend for games.

Fck it... we have 1 good striker in our books... Voronin is craap, Ngog is craap, Kuyt isnt a forward and neither is Babel...
I still expect us to go out and sign a backup forward simply because we have to... hope its not a 10+mill flop...
Cant see how anyone wouldnt want Owen back at liverpool, hes done well wherever he's been... at least his goalscoring records say so...
I expect him to do very well wherever he ends up... what are the odds on him ending up the leagues top goalscorer if he goes to manutd ?!
id put a tener on that.
