link to story on the upcoming heatwave

I thought after my recent trip to SriLanka, that would be my summer, plus the holiday ive booked in september to Lanzarote, but hey, according to the met office we are in for a good spot of weather in the UK - woohoo.

what will you do? go away or stay here and sweat it out?

I am bloody melting, it's lovely here its well up in the high twenties.

I'm gonna relax today no work, i will take my wife to lunch at Harvester on the harbour.

You can bet your life today their will be untold drunk people due to the heat, not a good
mix tbh but hey each to their own and all that

Just had a pint of Sangria (about to have another) , sun lounger's set up on the balcony along with the TV, lazy afternnon getting slowly stewed whilst watching Wimbledon

it's a scottish-ism. my brother's coming up from wherever it is he lives on wednesday night, gettin blootered, goin to see kraftwerk at manc velodrome on thursday then gettin blootered, goin on all day sesh on friday to get blootered, then the lanky fecker's off home again on saturday. until then i shall be mostly sweating like a rapist
