I see the kuyt first touch crept into a post about Silva yesterday ?!
In between Landos various expletives that he seems to explode onto the board with he does come out with a few gems . Forum Oracle seems pretty spot on to me
As I said I quite like it too mate. If you wish to refer to me as the forum oracle, then that's your perogative. I'm flattered by the acolade even though I'm not sure it's deserved![]()
As for "technical ability", "rotation", "Kuyts first touch" and the like, I just put them in to make sure you're still reading 'em

I wonder if his new contract said that he has TOTAL control over his squad, thus meaning he can fund ANY player transfers he wants, ??
If he is forced into a wholesale squad change, he could sell,
Xabi £25
Mascha £25
Dossena £5M
Arbeloa £5M
Babel £7M
thats £67M to find players to fill in the question marks below, i'm just using the standard 2 players for every position reasoning.
That'll be some shopping list,

Silva is just the type of player we need - he is basically the Aimar of 2009, and will help us no end against the sit-back merchants.
Saviola - he's a lot better than I feel he is getting credit for on here. He hasn't had an easy time of it recently, but when you actually look at the players he is competing with, there's no shame in not being first choice.
As I have said previously - I can only comment on what I have seen of the lad, and when I saw him play for Barca he was easily the man of the match, despite Xavi and Ronaldinho being in the same team and at their peak. He scored 2 goals that day - a couple of headers.
I think he'd be a brilliant second striker for us, particularly if the price was right.
