Somethings afoot its either.

1. Twit & tw@t are bringing another tw@t in.

2. The groundshare is happening.

3. The yanks will borrow another 300-400 mill and put it on the club for the stadium.

4. We are being taken over.

5. He has re-signed because parry's gone.

Pure speculation though they might all be true......for that matter Moores might be Jack the Ripper as well.

Time will tell..........  :pirate

I dont thin anyone who has criticised Moores has been unjust or gone OTT.

They have stated that he let us all down (massive understatement) but since then hasnt even attempted to make things right.

Anyone who is in disagreement with fans like ciggy and nanny are without any actual facts.
Yes we can say we dont know how Moores felt about his mistake but at the end of the day so far he has done nowt to rectify it,

So to me all criticism is majorly warranted.

Poor Moores duped by the nasty men  :no

He wont get all that now he has stepped down will he?

He needs to join SOS and publically call for the owners to sell the club. He probably wont but thats what he needs to do to make a start to regaining the fans faith, not that that alone will do it.

There is still time for him, hopefully it's a case of cometh the hour cometh the man.

I've no idea I've never seen it. If though he sold a football club to a couple fo charlatans, then rallied the fans against the new owners before finally kicking them out of the club, the city and the country, then yes, exactly like that.

I am a little surprised about the hatred for the man on here. he has put more into the club in time and money than this whole forum put together yet here is is being treated like a fecking leper, added to the money his family put in before him. all of you think he made a mistake selling to G&H but then again ignore the fact that without G&H we would probably not have the likes of torres et al. anyway this is not a thread about the owners, this is about a man who has been true red all his life and put more into the club than any of us.

Agreed. Very sad to see his influence lessening.

If only he had the money to buy out the american scumbags..

I've read just about all of the posts here and am very worried about the club! I always had Mr.Moores down as 'one of us' with albeit more money and a better seat. I feel that yes he did make a colossal mistake in selling out to the yanks and that is something he will have to try and live with, Yes he made money out of it but he put a hell of aolt of money into the club over the years and knew that we couldn't compete with the likes of ManUre & chavski (even ManShitty now) with what he had left to put in and did what he thought was best. Yes mistake we all see that now, but i didn't see it being like this when it was all first mooted although i was weary when someone new pops up to run our beloved club.
YES he made a mistake, we all do don't we?
I would like to thank him for the effort that he's put into the club over many years and the only trophy we never won in his time as chairman was the premiership but it's not been his fault IMO.
He's gone with money in his :censored: pocket YES, but do we begrudge him this, I personally don't think we should.
We need to concentate on what the next move the Yanks are upto and where they're gonna take us? They've lied to us time & time again but we've got Torres out of them we've still got a very good team that needs our full support and thats what they'll get from me time & time again! SUPPORT!

David Moores as Chairman has overseen our post Hillsborough playing decline, and economic decline, compared to our rivals. He appointed Rick Parry who failed similarly, Hicks was right about him. M&P as Chairman and CEO recommended a sale of LFC on the basis that the current board could not raise the money required for a new stadium. They were wrong. We now have the  level of debt that a new stadium would have brought - but no new stadium.

Moores was £8m better off selling to G&H than DIC. The sale to them was motivated by personal profit. When it became apparent that the debt had been put on the club and that G&H could not offer the finance that they promised M&P could (should) have resigned - they CHOSE not to. Parry has happily drawn a CEOs salary from twit & tw@t and his Directors perks, Moores has at least his Directors perks, aswell as a salary and a free ride and free bar.

The board comprises five members G&H, Gillette jnr, M&P. M&P could NOT outvote G&H. They have prevented NOTHING.
Out done 2-4.

Moores apparently trousered around £90m from the sale of the club. The Moores Family was worth around £1.16bn in 2006. Dont forget that our interest payments are paying for that £90m. Moores has the wherewithall to both buy back a significant minority stake, or lead a consortium to try to buy back the club. He chooses not to.

The fact that M&P are "fans" is irrelevant, and arguably makes things worse. "Fans" that are self seeking, weak and venal. At least G&H no longer pretend to be anything other than that which they are.

What does Moores departure mean? Nothing. By hanging on to his Life Presidency he mocks any pretence of being a Red and will no doubt be rightly mocked by G&H as he huddles in a corner of the Directors Suite reminiscing with his old mates who he has bunged a few comps to about the good old days in the eighties.

Will Moores ever speak out? I doubt it, travelling away with the Official party is too nice. Parry?
You can bet that his severance terms include a confientiality agreement. both of their departures may be the final chapter of this sorry saga - but it is not the final page.

Xerveres1 an ITK from rawk.
There is no-one anywhere in the world at any stage who is any bigger or any better than this football club.

WTF?? How can something be the final chapter but not the final page? :Oo:

Anyway i think Moores got conned, i do not believe he deliberately set about to destroy the club and I do think that things will get much much worse without him and Parry on the board but that's what you guys wanted so congratulations.
