The season is so far away...  :no I can't wait.

Well I'm saying here and now Sabes that he will be a flop in the Premiership. A mile away from being good enough for a top team IMHO.

???

Hasnt he been playing in a top team for the last 6-8 years and won every trophy going with said top team plus winning the world cup as well with Italy .

He was a great little player at Rangers and they were gutted to loose him to AC , but the guy is a right little battler with lots of energy . He gave Kaka and Pirlo the ball and Liesense to go forward . Think he owuld be perfect for arsenal more.

Gattusso was a class act 3 years ago but today he'll be knackered after 4 weeks, he wont take the pace. I hope they pay a fortune.

The only bad thing about Gattuso is he has just spent the season on the sidelines injured but the guy is still only 31

To be an enforcer/holder in the Premiership you need to be a good player. You either need Alonso like class and poise, Makeleli like instinctive positioning or Masherano's engine and destructive quality. You've got to handle people like Gerrard exploding into your midst with pace, power and purpose. Growing a silly beard, pulling silly faces and putting in the odd slide tackle may get you a reputation for being a hard man in Italy, but it won't cut it in the Premiership.

He is neither good enough, big enough, strong enough, hard enough nor clever enough and won't last five minutes. John Obi Mikkel on the other hand will make a top player if persevered with. All IMHO but there it is.

well he has proved all those things  wrong mick during the last number of years while controlling  the midfield for AC Milan - did it against us in first half of 05 final and throughout the game in 07 . Also shackled the great french midfield during the WC final . he may not be the most skillful player in the world but he is a a very high class enforcer .

Let's not start laughing at who they will or wont be signing yet. The situation is they have a lot of wonga and we have well....we dont know. But im sure he will buy a mixture of youth and perhaps 1 or 2 he trusts from Milan.

So this forum doesnt conform to the way you want it - i have no doubt you will make sure it stops . Yes i am annoyed at that little poll you started as im pretty sure someone as seemingly intelligent and articulate as you would of seen where it would of ended up - ie a free for all for little digs and insults at my expense when i wasnt around to defend myself . Maybe just maybe im sick of getting insulted by every man and his side kick just because i have a different view and maybe dont put it accross in the best but at least i try and stick to football - dont insult people and am passionate about supporting my club and am more than happy to defend it to the hilt no matter what .

Just a couple of points on the "little poll".

The "little poll" was in response to a similar one you did on Judge a day earlier. It was intended to be light hearted, hence the inclusion of "others" in the poll options. Quite early on, it veered away from that and I PM'd one of the mods and asked them to lock the thread, as I had never intended it to be a "have a dig at GYBS thread". I may be guilty of many things but not that, it's not my style. The Mod in question assured me that I was worrying too much, and that everyone could see it was only light hearted. They offered to close it if I insisted, but their opinion was it was fine. So I left the thread and went to bed.

The next morning, the thread had been locked. It never really got out of hand from what I could see, but I agreed with it being locked. I shouldn't have started the thread in the first place as I should have seen what was going to happen.

I then pm'd you straight away and wholeheartedly apologised for the whole episode. You neither accepted the apology nor rebuked it, although you did confirm that you'd read it. Not accepting the apology is of course your right, although I meant it absolutely you are not duty bound to accept it one way or the other.

Now you are choosing to air your grievancies visa vis the said thread on the forum. Once again that is your entitlement.

I still wish I hadn't started the thread, it was a daft thing to do. In that sense, the apology still stands. I do think though that your behaviour since, particularly here is singularly lacking in class. Ah well.

how do you think the poll was going to go - it doesnt take a rocket science to figure what was going to happen - my poll about judge didnt have little digs about judge in it - yours did about me .Maybe im sick of hearing about this AK47 cr.ap and how apparently im ruining everything there is to do with the forum and getting insulting pms from members and being insulted on the board numerous times because i dont conform to the norm . Maybe just maybe some people need to look at themselves at their attitudes towards other posters on here as their is an air of snobbishness from people who have been here a long time and its no surprise when people leave and when new people arrive then dont stay long .

Apparently he wants that Gattuso bloke to be Chelsea's destryer, he's having a fecking laugh isn't he   What with Big Phil thinking Deco would be the answer, now we've got a bloke thinking a five feet two Captain Caveman is going to terrify the Premiership. Where do these feckers come from, it beggers belief it really does.

Gatusso is quality. I gaurantee he'll fit right in the EPL so I wouldn't be laughing.

As for the season to start, it can't come sooner. If only to stop shlte threads like Peewee just started.
