Ye would look like one of those dudes that sang............

Mmm Mmm Mmm Mmm lyrics
Once there was this kid who
Got into an accident and couldn't come to school
But when he finally came back
His hair had turned from black into bright white
He said that it was from when
The car had smashed so hard

Mmm Mmm Mmm Mmm
Mmm Mmm Mmm Mmm

Once there was this girl who
Wouldn't go and change with the girls in the change room
But when they finally made her
They saw birthmarks all over her body
She couldn't quite explain it
They'd always just been there

Mmm Mmm Mmm Mmm
Mmm Mmm Mmm Mmm

:D

I like (at least im fascinated by) the sheer power of nature in action. I have not seen any nasty stuff where lightning is concerned, thankfully...

But there is a certain mystique about the forces involved in the dynamic shaping of our world which is a 'true' and natural magic at work. And a sight to behold.

Unless of course, you're on the wrong end of its wrath!

Should have been in ours last week it was terrifying sh!t struck my sat dishes  :(  My receiver wouldnt work for days.

There is a big hole in the park where the lightening struck the ground, thankfully the storm was at 5 in the morning so no kids where in the park.

The thunder & lightening you get here is worst than anything I ever experienced in England.

30 million euro's worth of damage the lightening caused here last week.

are you talking about the big storm at the end of may? i was in amsterdam on the 26th and during the night there was the biggest storm i've seen for ages. the lightening was right on top of us and every crack set the building shaking. feckin love it, me.

but the best ever was when i was helping my girlfriend move years ago in shoreham by sea. again the storm was right on top of us, we're carrying boxes across a car park in the p!ssing rain, and every strike of lightening blinded us for a few seconds and left the ears ringing. how we didn't get hit i'll never now.
