Bav, Etoo works bloody hard for the team, trains hard as feck
and has the metallity to win.

Ego pfft, footballers all have those in one way or another, if it was that bad i don't think the fans and fellow team mates would love him as much as they do.

Eto'o has been known to cause problems in the dressing room though...

Eto is apparently not happy at barca and is in his last year of his contract , i reckon we should go for him . Sure he misses chances but he can dribble , beat his man and also can create . Fantastic player , would love to see him here

I'm not keen on Eto'o. there seems to be some contraversy following him. If he can assure he he'll calm dow n a bit then sure. It's not gonna happen anyway. I reckon Silvas our big money signing this summer

I think silva is too light weight for the prem and i have not seen much of him this season to be fair however , anyone care to post on how he did this season , i know valencia did not qualify for the champions league and thats not helping their debt situation out in anyway thus we might be able to sign him for cheaper unless a bidding war starts

Ibra is capable of the odd magic moment, but from what I've seen of him (All CL games against English sides, a Milan derby and two other league games) hes pants. Obviously he's good for Inter but I reckon over here he'd be a Ronaldo type character, but not as good

pointless signing eto as 4-4-2 dont suit us

silva is ok but i wouldnt pay silly money for him as he isnt an amazing goalscorer and his assists rate aint that great

id prefer going big money for ribery

Rumor is that Eto was seen in Manchester.  City could actually be good next season.

Well if they continue to sign players like Barry and Eto they will be a good team before long, that's for sure. I guess when they've improved out of all recognition having spent oodles of cash, Chelsea have spent bundles to improve as have the Mancs and Arsenal and we're finding it much harder, people might reflect further on the "golden opportunity" theory.

We will not see a more winnable Premiership for some years, possibly ever I don't think.

I was being sarcastic MH, we are skint no Eto will be coming here. It wont be rafa making mistakes in the transfer market, it will be Rafa having feck all to spend.

i agree , that is my main concern ciggy. with feck all to spend, those yank tw@ts may put presure on raffa to sell big before we can even replace.

i just hope with that alonso isn't made a financial scapegoat!

Friday's gossip on BBC :-

"The Gunners are favourites to beat Manchester City to the signature of £8m-rated Wolfsburg striker Edin Dzeko, who they see as a replacement for Emmanuel Adebayor."

Not sure where the CF thread went, we must be able to beat the goners to sign someone surely?
Never buy from PC World, product quality is poor and their 'customer service' is even poorer
