peewee wrote:oh the thread where I put 'haha joke' next to his name, the clue there is in the word 'joke' you idiot.

Now find me a comment in the past three months where I have slated kuyt on a serious note. sorry to rain on your little martyr parade but you will not find one. seems you are spoiling for another tedious drawn out argument based on your wrong assumptions yet again.

nothing to get depressed about

oh so please point out to me where i mentioned ladyboys before you insulted me about depression then pee

comeon now... first post from ozwat or whatever his name is was out of line... no point dragging it on now GYBS...  get this thread back on track...

Id give

Gerrard - 9.5
Torres -8.5
Kuyt - 8
Alonso -8

everyone else is around the 5 or 6 mark... Aurelio, Carra, Riera, maybe Benny probably get a 6.5 or so... Reina too ...

Lucas, Dossena, Babel, Ngog all get 4s...

I don't like to rate players, but I'll make a double rating this time. The first number, the player's season if I bear in mind what I expected of him this season. It's kind of the player's form in the season as a whole

The second number, the player's season rating, if I bear in mind what a massive club like Liverpool needs to win every competition. That is, the lower the second number is, the easier I find to replace the player in summer. It's his global rating when I see what they provide to the team right now

I can't be concise enough with my english to explain the ratings in one line so I won't bother

Pepe 8 // 9

Arbeloa 8 // 6

Carra  7 // 7.5

Skrtel - 6 // 6

Aurelio 8 // 8

Xabier Alonso - 10 // 9

Mascherano 7 // 8.5

Riera 7 // 7 -

Gerrard 10 // 10

Kuyt 9 // 6

Torres 7 // 9.5

Diego Cavalieri - 7 // 6 (would like to be back up)

Insua - 8 // 7.5 (Pretty promising)

Dossena - 5.5 / 3

Agger - 3 (injuries) / 8

Hyypia - 9.5 / 7.5

Lucas - 6.5 / 6

Babel - 3 / 3

Yossi - 9.5 / 7

Ngog - 6 / 4

Keane -4.5 / 0

Once again what could have been a decent thread has been ruined. The very thing that gets on many peoples nerves has shown its ugly head again. And I for one am sick of it. Its lame, pointless and nulls any reasonable discussion.

Im talking of course about the .5 rating. Either make it 8 or 9, for christs sake. Or why not just go the whole hog and say 7 and 3/4  Its actually easier to round it up or down then it is to add a .5 to the bloody number.

Stress relieved....feeling much better...

Pretty much how I see it mate with the following exceptions:

1. I wouldn't put Benny at 9.5, though. For me he's an 8.

2. I had no idea about Riera when he joined, so my second number would have been a 6. I'd say he's good for an 8 on this season's showing as he's brought the much-needed balance we were after.

It's not annoying, it's real numbers. Between 7 and 8 there are infinite real numbers.

It's not easier to round up. You have to add .5 or sub .5 and you have to decide.

Plus, it's less accurate.

So I disagree, it's not easier to round up, and it's worse because it's less accurate. I would be tempted to use 7.845 if there were less enemies of real numbers here   :no

(you're kidding right?  )
