No need for it..... a little class wouldn't go amiss.

Disagree, I think Rafa's statement showed a lot of class and was a very elegant dig at Ferguson.

I don't understand why Rafa would be expected to give special recognition to the manager of the winning team?  Should he also give praise to the Glazers and and David Gill? what about calling out every single one of their players?  He gave credit to the club, it was the club that won the title not the manager.

There was a clear implied lack of respect for F and quite right so soon after the Fat Sam fiasco .

Excellent observation, its not a friggin' Oscars speach after all.

I expect the old c*nt to look like this after a Summer of Rafa's media shenanigans:

Everyone has turned this into another story. How pathetic.

i read that following their draw with arsenal, Fergie congratulated Liverpool on their title challenge - but didn't offer his congratulations to Rafa personally

It seems it's not so interesting for headline writers when ORN does it :p

I think this whole approach by the media shows they are obsessed by personality's rather than by tactics and the players conditioning etc. I doubt you would get this in Spain and Italy one of the reasons the media haven't been lapping up Jose where here he was treated as a god.

It's discusting and I think it's why the England managers job is so tough. Not that I give a toss about how well England do but for me part of the reason is becasue the media pray on every single word said and turn it into a story. It makes the job so much harder.

Think how much more difficult it would be to write a story analysing players, tactics and matches ...

These journos have to make it to the pub in time for opening, so it's much easier to write some bull :censored: about alonso wanting a move or rafa's rotation policy

Upon scoring the winner at OT next season, Rafa should stand up and instead of doing the hand gesture he did against Blackburn, he should instead do the "off with his head" type gesture, where you run your thumb across your neck. I'd love to see the c*nt's face if Rafa did that.

Rafa copped on very early that the London press have no interest in serious football interviews.
He realised that Fergie had the upperhand in the intimidation stakes and he decided to engage Whiskey nose on the media battlefield.
Thing is,Rafa knows a hell a lot more about tactics than Fergie on that battlefield and on the playing field.
Fergie has always had the luxury of been able to bring in the biggest battalions but Rafa knows how to use his smaller army tactically to beat our "Goliath" TWICE this this season.
Unfortunately we won most of the big battles this season using our generals great tactics but didn`t have the strength to finish out the war.

Rafaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
