to be fair, it is a bit overboard. but carra bleed lfc's blood and playing the west brom game after knowing we've lost the title, of coz he lost a bit of good sense. carra expected everybody to do 110% and sometimes arbeloa has been to slack.

but i said, with 11 cara we will have built a football dynasty here.

I expect its all been forgotten about by the players but no doubt the press will keep dragging it up .

He has made plenty of errors himself most recent against West Ham when he got caught pondering on the ball, he has had nightmares against Henry, Arshavin and Drogba to name a few.

He is the voice at the back and I think thats why Rafa is afriad to play Skyrtel and Agger together cause they dont cough and bark giving orders out.

It was a shame it happened if if Alonso had not have stepped in Carra would have hit Arby and it wasnt nice to see.
I was disapointed last season with him and Gerrard away at West Ham when they where gesturing Rafa was clueless bringing on Lucas that was another episode that upset the team.

No player is bigger than the club, even the scouse ones.

Carragher had every right to have a go at arbeloa but i agree laying his hands on arbeloa was uncalled for . I can count the number of bad games carra as had , arbeloa isn't good enough for this club , he's a stop gap till we get someone better .

i think it was something that has built up through the season carra been bottling it up ( every time arba fecked up and made a mistake ) and in this game he knew the tittle was gone so when he fecked up again he just blew his top and let a seasons worth of rage go, can't really blame him some time i have wanted to slap him

think now they have had this little spat they will be ok and move on, if not tw*t him carra

I agree with Graham that it is something that Carra has been bottling up for a while. Just go back a week ago and you can hear Carra screaming at Arbeloa and Kuyt for a good portion of the West Ham match. He even got quite animated with Kuyt at one point walking to the spot that Kuyt should have been and pointing at it.

As for any repercussions that this may have in the dressing room, well, I don't think there should be any. This sort of stuff happens, maybe not to the extent of getting marginally physical, but these things happen all the time and it's just a case of players caring and working as a team. Once the match is over and the lads are all showered up and settling down, the incident is forgotten about. Handshakes are given, pats on the back, and probably even a little laugh about it.

Big Carra fan but he went abit too far on Arbeloa ... Heat of the moment kind of stuff and they have kissed and made up so all is good!
