First off, how proud am I of my fellow "Grimbarians", or "Yellow Bellys" as they are known.

The entire show, it remained on one subject. The claims from politicians. And the "how they can get away with it and benefit dodgers cant" question. Its not so much about that, its more about how when there was a c.ock up with parliament regarding the tax benefits, those claiming had to pay it back.
Something that was meant to help people find work, cost them. Its made all the worse now because the money they have had to pay back has gone towards paying for the politicians dog food and the like.

The audience in grimsby never let the politicians feed there BS, we can see right through it. Indeed all the politicians didnt have much of a say as not one word was believed. And the audience made it perfectly clear what is felt towards them.

Margaret Beckett was especially made to look like the clueless bint she is by saying "You people dont understand", nice one maggie. Election coming up, and we are stupid. I especially enjoyed when she tried to justify her claims and the audience never gave her a chance. Try as she, and many of the parasites she is pals with, will try to justify, she is a leech who has dipped in the taxpayers trough (as supersub succintly put).

My minds made up, Monster Raving Loony Party has my next vote, by god, they cant be much worse than what we have can they?

The only ones over here that make sense are the green party and they think trees are more important than mankind,or we have other folks that dont know what to say when they are on camera!
At least your politicians have an education in England! :D

Saw that last night and it was great.

I actually ended up feeling a little sorry for the party members on the panel. They were bombarded.

The face on Teresa May, for the better part of the program, was priceless.

QUESTION TIME AUDIENCE MARCHES ON LONDON

THE audience from BBC1's Question Time was marching on London last night, parading the severed head of housing minister Margaret Beckett on a pike, like some kind of ghoulish mascot.

Amid growing signs that things might be about to kick off, the audience spilled out of the Grimsby Institute at 11.20pm and immediately headed for Market Rasen via the A46.

They then carried on for about 15 miles before taking the Lincoln bypass and finally joining up with the A1 just south of Newark.

Earlier they had stormed the stage, grabbing presenter David Dimbleby and locking him in the ladies' toilet before beheading Mrs Beckett and firing senior Tory MP Teresa May through a stained glass window using a makeshift catapult.

Their fellow panellist, the former Lib Dem leader Sir Menzies Campbell, has been stripped naked and is being transported to London in a tiny cage made from bamboo.

As of 8am this morning the Question Time audience had stopped at a service station near Biggleswade for refreshments, a toilet break and a chance to wipe some of the gunk from Mrs Beckett's head.

The audience is being led by Grimsby loud-mouth Roy Hobbs, mainly because it's his pike.

Mr Hobbs said: "I went to the trouble of bringing a pike to Question Time so I think it's only fair. And obviously when we get to London they are going to want to talk to whoever's carrying the severed head."

Funny to watch? It was awesome, I can't remember the last time that the panel has been so constantly attacked for a solid hour.

I thought personally that the tide turned justifiably on the Telegraph guy and knocked him a little bit on his high horse.

Might just be me, but the dude from McDonalds was my favourite. A perfect example of a straight forward business mind imho...why have they left it get this big...recognise it, deal with it, quash it within 48 hours....the ineptitude is amazing.

I certainly am. The anger shown on tv is generally the mood around grimsby. Especially jobwise, the upper class around here have factory jobs ! Its got to the point where the new deal scheme has no effect here, there are simply no jobs to send people to on a placement. The jobcentre is packed daily because of the amount of jobs lost. And a lot of people who own houses and the like have to find work outside of grimsby until it gets to the point where they cannot afford to keep a car which rules out that option. And all the while, these leeches are dipping into funding to feed there dogs or decorate there house with hanging baskets of flowers. Of course its not just here, im sure a lot of places are having exactly the same problems.

Ah, but you see, you don't understand how hard it is to be a politician.....they sometimes have to travel up to 2 hours from their community to the house of commons and need to work overtime. Ming Campbell had clocked in over 70 hours last week  :;):

That was the bit that made me laugh. How many people don't have at least a 1 hour commute each way on the day? How easy is it for us all to clock in 60 hour plus weeks if we count the travel time to and from work?

They all think they have it so frickin tough. Tell that to the person who can only get cleaning work and is stringing 4 - 5 jobs together in order to maintain something to live on. I was truly astounded at that one in particular. Should we get them all personal drivers to ease the pain?

Imagine going to your own boss and complaining about the commute and stating you need more money. F**k off would be the answer right away.
