No, not another sequel to a certain film......instead a tribute to one of this planets most revered artistic pioneers ever to have lived.

06/02/45 - 11/05/81 Long gone but never forgotten. R.I.P Robert Nesta Marley.

Enjoy

No particular reason for the track chosen - only that its one of my personal favourites out of so many of his.

As well as this one

The big Bands, and the big artists, do not care about political frontiers, and Bob Marley is an absolute legend.

And he was a great footie fan too! "Football is freedom", he said once.

Bob knew the good stuff. :nod

R.I.P THE GREATEST "MUSIC POLITICIAN EVER" bob marley will always be remembered for making so called powerfull men submit to their knees in shame. in day he got the two opponutes of world politics to come on stage in africa and shake hands for the first time in history was an achievement that no one else on the planet would have made happen! his interviews he gave over the years about polotician's, their greed, how they try to dictate to the world are legendry.

all his songs are an inspiation, & i find it hard to pick a favourite but one song i love to listen to with full volume is "CRISIS"  sorry but i don't know how to put the link up for that track but if you don't know it please give it a try it's absoulute quality from start to finish especially the instrumental part in the middle of the track.  their is an instrumental full version aswell, i think if memory serves me right it was the b side to 'is this love' another all time classic from the master bob marley.

just to let you know if anyone interested his back up band 'the wailers' ae still performing to this day.

they are touring some parts of the uk soon.

See people who smoke weed only listen to Bob because Bob is supposed to be an icon for weed smokers or something. Little do they realize, that smoking weed was part of Bob's actual religion and that's why he, and every other Rasta, smoked it.

Get Up, Stand Up has to be the biggest declaration of any faith ever to be put into the mainstream. It's all about Rastafari...oops. almost said an "ism" there. Jah!
