who do you think is greatest goalkeeper in english football ever.

I got slaughtered in the pub for suggesting that pat jennings was above george best in best island of ireland footballer so that brought my mind the goalkeeper nobody remembers.

Have to say, I always liked Nevile Southall. Top class goalie for the blues.

And Schmeichel was class in his day.

My fave Liverpool goalie though, I s'pose has to be Brucie.

Agree -Southall was great , id have him number 2. Cant think of anyone else not on that list, maybe Chris Woods, he had a brilliant start when he was standing in for Shilton.
