When was that taff ?

All i remember is the time when Keane got sent off and went to run after Shearer, who looked like he was sh!tting himself.

Tommy Smith should be in the top 5 without doubt.

Most of the people in that list where just yard dogs who couldnt play.

Sorry to say it but Duncan Ferguson should be no1 by a mile in my books even if he was a blue.

type Keane vs Shearer on youtube...'Big Al's' face says it all  :D

Is that the same Shearer who after the match went into the Mancs dressing room on his jack, and grabbed that Irish Faggot by the throat while non of Mr Keane's  teammates lifted a finger to help him,or maybe its the same Shearer who put Neil Razor Ruddock on his @rse after a row ,have a look again fella only a Shi*bag throws a punch on the pitch ,its posted on You Tube by a Manc ,Keanes a f@nny

in a fight i'd back Keane over Mary Poppins any day of the week.

Id put my money on Timmy Mallet to do Keane  :idea

now THAT'S a fight i'd pay to see  :D

Apparently the Wimbledon "Crazy Gang" wouldn't go near Mick Harford, he was rock apparently.

That said, I've met Vinnie a few times and although he's a nice lad, he wouldn't be top of my list for fella's I'd like to have a row with. He's bigger than he looks on the telly, and has that steely look that kind of makes you feel he's focusing on the inside back of your head rather than the face. He could be a wee bit of a handful in the wrong circumatances I've no doubt, you'd go there if you had to but it wouldn't be by choice.

:D  :D  You`d have a go would ya mick?

 well as I said Rushie, if they were looking for volunteers I'd be taking one step backwards rather than forwards. Some fellas just have that look about them which registers.

That said, sometimes in life (well seemingly sometimes in my life anyway) you don't have the option of a decision, and under those circumstances I'd reluctantly enter the fold yes. Once you're in, there's point dying wondering, if you're gonna go you might as well go swinging etc.

I've a hunch though I might need a bit of :help to eventually prevail in this particular case :D.

Keane is hard?? for what, tackling Haaland in an extremely cowardly challenge.

Maybe it is his mental toughness like walking out on his country in the world cup, walking away from Manu when his skills began to go, walking away from sunderland once it got tough?

Where did you hear that mate ?

I wasnt trying to make out Keane was a hard player by the way - more pointing out Shearers name in there seemed stupid after what had happened in the game when Keane went for him.

Mick Harford who some have mentioned is a great shout as is Jimmy Case.

I bet there must be some keepers going back through the times that must have been quite hard as well.
Just cant think at the moment.

Gary Neville. Say what you like about him, whenever his "friend" Becks played on the right he was hard all game, for a long time before and after the match as well...............

:bowdown  Totally agree, Keane is not hard at all, he's just a bully. Absolutely horrible excuse for a man, complete coward and nasty piece of work, ruining another man's livelihood is so fecking low. How the hell he wasn't excluded from football for all time after admitting the attack on Haaland is beyond me.

I think I would put Alonso there. Some of you may not have agreed but you never see Alonso chicken out on a challenge. He goes full force into the challenge. He had also broken his leg and he played the same way after. Just this season alone, many of you would be able to recall plays when he goes full force when being tackled. He gets up and never lay there. Really my kind of player.

Some of the players mentioned can issue a challenge but not sure if they can take a challenge like Alonso can. Drogba definitely shouldn;t be on this list as he is a cheat and fall like a sissy when nobody even touched him. So, calling him the hardest is a disgrace. Ballack is only good on giving hard foul when others are not looking. He was a good player when in Bayern but he is really overated and never performed the same level after he went to Chelsea.

It is tough to define "hard" but I think Essien, Mascher, Vidic, Paul Ince etc can be defined as tough.

I thought sir roger was taking the p. You might credit Drogba, but not ladyboy Ronaldo who can barely stand. Apparently an Arsenal fan was watching TV the other night, kicked the TV out of frustration at the first goal and Ronaldo fell over.

Don't you have to have a red card for violent conduct to be considered "hard" ? If not then you should, none of this handbags at six paces and pushing opponents or abusing refs.
