I forgive him being raw to be honest.  I have heard he might be the real deal.  Does anyone know more about this

well he seems to have a lot of potential and has bags of skill - just got to see how he develops - he could easily become a player that saves us spending 20 odd million .

i wouldn't blame Rafa for not picking  the reserves

tbh i imagine many of them have played their way out of a career in a top team by their performances this season

Pacheco looks good but he is still quite young. Then again so was Hobbs, Anderson and Linfield.

Nemeth looked god, right up until he got injured....The two lads off at Leicester (I think) - what's the deal with them ? There are others in the Reserves who - last season - looked like they could make it with a little more encouragement and perhaps the sniff of first team football...
I mean, it's not like-for-like, but if a manager is brave enough to stick say Owen, Rooney, Walcott, and others like them, straight into first team football 'cos they're "god enough", is it not worth taking a punt ?

Hobbs has signed for LEicester.

Anderson is on loan in the Championship at Forrest.

Lindfield is not going to make the grade and will probably be realeased this summer having only managed 2 goals at Accy in LEague 2.

Exactly my point. They were all once heralded as on the verge and great talents. But when it came down to it they obviously were not good enough otherwise Rafa would have kept them on board. I'm not saying Pacheco is going to end up the same but I thnik if he was any good we might have seen him involved a bit by now. I know he is young but if your good enough that doesn't matter you still get some chances.

spot on, not since the days of viera henry pires etc has he won anything yet the man is still treated like he turns water into wine with these youngsters just because they have a decent cup run in a competition no big club takes seriously every year
