I'd be happy to see Gareth Barry signed up too but there's no bottomless pit of money.

There's a few of the current team that could be moved on to free up funds IMO; Dossena, Babel, Lucas, El Zhar, Ngog, Plessis.

not sure if he would go to citeh

all comes down to cost - if we could afford him i think he would come to us over citeh

I agree with you mate and I think Robinho is going to feel very lonely and exposed at Citeh over the summer as no one else wants to sign.

They need someone else to come for the cash - Mickey Owen´s available.

Edit to add a quote from the BBC blog of the Newcastel - Portsmouth game: "2126: Dear, dear me. Mark Viduka slips Michael Owen clean through. The striker is 14 yards from goal but his effort is weak and far too close to David James, who saves. Hands on head time for the Geordie fans."  :wwww

would have tevez in a shot but only for the right money, feel he would sette here well down to macher and him sharing nationalities. He'd be an improvement on kuyt and n'gog although give kuyt his due hes deserved his place this season.
loving fergie and his balloon ^^ :D :D

there is no doubt tevez would strengthen us but at what cost ? do we blow the reported 30 mil on him and thats most of our budget gone leaving us with a lower class of rb and attacking midfielder to get ?

Why do we need an attacking midfielder? If we get Tevez we'd have Yossi, Gerrard and Tevez himself all perfect for that role plus Pacheco coming through who will probably put his hand up for early cup games.

And how much are we expected to spend on a backup right back? I'd love a RB better and CM but I'd take Tevez over Barry and Johnson in a heartbeat.

we need a clever attacking mdifeilder to have a little bit of creativity to unlock tight defences - a little bit of guile as opposed to hard work and trying to bullzoer are way through - yossi does bring it every now and then but we need a little something extra in there - like an arshavin type player - hence why i want us to get silva - he coiuld provide that as well as playing left and right or behind torres or even up front .

isn't gerrard the best attacking midfielder in the world? We need a creative striker like robinho...

Hey all! First post and glad to be joining in.

I've always rated Tevez since the day he started at West Ham. Think he is exactly what we need up front and a Tevez-Torres partnership could be killer!

Really, what could be better than a reunion? Benayoun, Mascherano, and Tevez back to action together! Unstoppable.

Fergie knows his days are numbered.

welcome to the forum lad  :)

I rate Tevez too and think he would be a great 2nd striker
