Yer what?  ??? Your a Liverpool fan and give two MOTM? WTF Bennynoon and Kuyt where MOTM get yer head together FFS.
So arshavin scored 4 noway was he MOTM noway.

Mad thing is, and this is probably the first and last time I'll ever say this, is that he did f*ck all but score four goals from four shots. Yeah, mad as it sounds, but he was shyte otherwise.

If you score 4 goals you are going to get MOTM, it will always be that way even if they all go in of your ar$e.

For me Kuyt was magnificent tonight

Agrred Dundalk Kuyt was outstanding an got my man of the match,
HE WHO BETRAYS WILL ALWAYS WALK ALONE

difrent class finishin, that was the difrence

no it's more than that mate. Reina is a great goalie don't get me wrong but how often does he make an amazing save, normally if a player is through on him one on one you just know the player will score. Reina is a terribel shot blocker, if he could somehow add that to his game I think he would be the best in the world but at the moment that lets him down. In comparision Fabianski made some amazing saves and almost saved Torres's second.

Nonsense.  Can't fault Reina for the goals tonight at all...Arshavin was absolutely brilliant with his placement after being gifted the ball more times than I've ever seen by our lads.  As for Pepe never making a save was the first leg against Chelsea really so long ago that you've forgotten the stop on Drogba?--clear through on goal with only Reina to beat and yet doesn't manage it.  And that's just the most recent example.  Reina's a class keeper and we're lucky to have him.  :nod

some people never have a half full glass.......

said before somewhere on another thread, maybe Pepe needs to hand back his Golden Gloves awards he's won while here....

was, and remains despite the las 2 games, the best in the prem

He usually has a great defence in front of him, same as Van der Sar. As I have said now lots of times he is a fantastic keeper but imo he is not the best in the prem, we might have the best defensive unit in the prem but not the best keeper. Anyway that is just my opinion and I respects yours. I'm just trying to be a bit objective, I thought it was the Liverpool way to applaud other good players and give credit where its due.

did you notice bennayouns face when he scored in the last minute, no real celebration. none of the players really went mad. I think they all know the league is over now.

hope arsenal beat manure but if they don't the league is over.

at least we competed this year which is more than we did since probably 1996.

2009/2010; I can feel it in my bones. :buttrock

do you think our keeper was to blame for any of those goals tonight? Absolutely clueless  :no

Someone always gets the blame on here Scott an tonight its Pepes turn.

I really cant understand people blaming Riena, Maybe just maybe there third he could of had as it went underneath him , but the others not a chance

Hang on now I'm not blaming Pepe for the loss, I blame the defensive mistakes and just shear bad luck plus not have the rub of the green. We dominated most of the match but it just didn't go our way. The defenders had a poor game which put more pressure on Pepe and unfortunately he wasn't able to step up and make some crucial saves and yes they would have been fantastic saves but just one tonight would have made all the difference.

Arshavin is always going to get man of the match after scoring 4... even if he was on his a$s for 90 mins doing his nails, got up 90secs before the final whistle to score 4...he'd still get it... anyone remember the last player to score 4 against us at anfield ? well.. besides arshavin

not that you can blame the referee because it was our mistakes that cost us the goals, but a lot of the calls went Arsenal's way IMO, including awarding the free kick that lead to Arsenal's 2nd, Yossi was looking at the ball the whole time

We may have drawn but it may as well have been a defeat. I can't see us winning the league now. I can't see utd dropping points now they rested a lot of players for the game this week too.

Arbeloa had a shocker tonight, he took too long dilly dalling on the ball and it's not the first time either. Against City away he was guilty of the same thing. Anyway we have nothing else left to play for so all I can say is I hope we win all our remaining games. West Ham away is massive now. I hope Stevie is back for that.

Yeah I know nan, but how can ya point the finger at any player after a performance like that. You couldn't put more effort into a football game could you? They worked so hard, every single one of em and you could really see it in the appreciation from the crowd tonight and that's why people jump down your throat Heimdall, because you're the guy in the crowd who has most to say when it's a whinge or a moan, and i can't speak for everyone else but those are the people I don't want to sit with.

As for Reina, even the one that went beneath him was traveling at pace and would have been tough to stop, it's all well and good seeing the slow-motion replay and seeing he was close to it.
