sorry i love football and this was a great game, i know we did not win and i feel Rafa did make a few mistakes when it come to setting rules for our back 4, not sure why they feel the need to split so wide or to push up so much when we are in total control of the game.
no sure what is up with Reina he has let in 8 goals in 2 games, that dont look good on anyones CV.

You cant blame Reina when his defence let him down so badly

But he blames Rafa in  his refrence, which is typical of him cause he prefers fat sam english manager to rafa.

Freedom of speech is a terrible thing isn't it Ciggy, we must all worship and obey Rafa for he makes no mistake. You really need to snap out fo this brainwashing.  :D
All he said was he thought Rafa made a few mistakes is he not entitled to say that? Personally I don't agree with him but I still respect his opinion, shame you can't!

BTW Scotbot I'm not exactly the only one thinking Reina had a stinker but best too just focus your attack on me eh? A nice safe target where you don't have too use any imagination or brains.

Sounds like a great game but terrible result in the end (even though it could have been worse).

Even my mate, an Everton fan, tells me we were all over them and should have won, so we must have been dominant.

Fu.ck it.  We now need United to either lose two or draw three in seven games.  Won't be easy for us, we need serious snookers now :(

They had about 4 shots and scored 4, never seen anything so one sided where thats happened, so many mistakes by us

Wee bast.ard Arshavin.

Will reserve judgement til I see it but all the reports are saying individual mistakes at the back cost us - if that's the case then only ourselves to blame.

no it's more than that mate. Reina is a great goalie don't get me wrong but how often does he make an amazing save, normally if a player is through on him one on one you just know the player will score. Reina is a terribel shot blocker, if he could somehow add that to his game I think he would be the best in the world but at the moment that lets him down. In comparision Fabianski made some amazing saves and almost saved Torres's second.

Nonsense.  Can't fault Reina for the goals tonight at all...Arshavin was absolutely brilliant with his placement after being gifted the ball more times than I've ever seen by our lads.  As for Pepe never making a save was the first leg against Chelsea really so long ago that you've forgotten the stop on Drogba?--clear through on goal with only Reina to beat and yet doesn't manage it.  And that's just the most recent example.  Reina's a class keeper and we're lucky to have him.  :nod

What even the goal that went under him?? Reina one on one does not make many saves, but as I have said a few times he is outstanding keeper. Unfortunately today Fabianski was light years better.

Mad thing is, and this is probably the first and last time I'll ever say this, is that he did f*ck all but score four goals from four shots. Yeah, mad as it sounds, but he was shyte otherwise.

disapointed tonight, the way we responded after every Arsenal goal was superd and the team deserve credit for that. However 3 of the 4 Arsenal goals were very avoidable, and the 3 players who made the mistakes really let the team down, with three very basic schoolboy errors. Its not over yet, it would have been if we lost, but United are gonna have to drop some points soon somewhere! on my predictor table i had them losing vs Boro, and drawing with Arsenal and Man City so hers hoping!

If you score 4 goals you are going to get MOTM, it will always be that way even if they all go in of your ar$e.

For me Kuyt was magnificent tonight

Ask yourself who had the biggest influence on the game. was it Benni, two goals, Kuyt a few very good touched and worked very hard, Fabianski who had a blinder or Arshavin who most of you think scored 4 unstoppable goals. Why don't you try and be a bit objective Ciggy and give credit where it's due. You can't think on one hand that Reina made no mistakes and on the other not think Arshavin played an incredible game.  :no

do you think our keeper was to blame for any of those goals tonight? Absolutely clueless  :no

Someone always gets the blame on here Scott an tonight its Pepes turn.

I really cant understand people blaming Riena, Maybe just maybe there third he could of had as it went underneath him , but the others not a chance

Sorry Ciggy, but scoring 4 goals...at Anfield......is an amazing achievement, no matter who's doing it and deserves a nod for MotM.

If I was to give it to Liverpool, I'd split it between Benny and Kuyt, who were in great form tonight.

why always so dramatic? An attack? It's not a bloody attack for gods sake, its a football forum so why do you always have to play such a martyr? I haven't had the chance to trawl through the thread and see any previous criticism of Reina. The simple fact is he had ABSOLUTELY no chance with any of the goals tonight, none whatsoever, he didn't put a foot wrong so what are you talking about? As for bigging up Fabianski and wishing our keeper had performed like him? He didn't exactly fill his back 4 with confidence and had some dodgy moments tonight.

Surely they were just unstoppable shots by Arshavin, all well hit

Got to give arshavin a bit of credit there even though he was sh.it other than that all match

I am feckin proud of our lads tonight and they deserve credit, if we listened to you two gobsh!tes you and Lakes Fat Sam Ingurlund lover well Liverpool would be relegated.

I have my doubts about you Heimdall I really believe you are a Man U fan, my and Leon have been talking about this I am starting to believe it.
No one likes you here so feck off kunt.
