That's a f*cking joke and we should have put 5 past them without reply.

macha made a dumb mistake and dont understand what aurellio was trying to do or what is arby... feckin gave a perfect pass to arshavin...

sorry i love football and this was a great game, i know we did not win and i feel Rafa did make a few mistakes when it come to setting rules for our back 4, not sure why they feel the need to split so wide or to push up so much when we are in total control of the game.
no sure what is up with Reina he has let in 8 goals in 2 games, that dont look good on anyones CV.

You cant blame Reina when his defence let him down so badly

do you think our keeper was to blame for any of those goals tonight? Absolutely clueless  :no

They were not particularily up for the game, we had all the possession, all the shots, all the corners. we gave them at least 2 goals, our defending at key moments was rubbish and that is why we drew, that and Arshavins finishing. This should have been 3 points, no adebayour, van persie, clichy....

Exactly. I thought they were giving us the match in the first 20 minutes. God knows we had more than enough chances to score a couple before halftime.

For man of the match it's a hell of a tough call between Fabianski and Arshavin, both were immense today much like Benni was for us. Wish Rafa had started Benni behind Torres, that worked so much better for us in the 2nd half, at least it seemed like he was behind Nando in the 2nd half. One of those nearly games a priviledge to watch though, reminded me of those 4-3 against the Toon a few years back, shame we couldn't have nicked this one in the same way.

Fu.ck sake.  Had to work tonight and just saw result.

Sounds like a great game but terrible result in the end (even though it could have been worse).

Even my mate, an Everton fan, tells me we were all over them and should have won, so we must have been dominant.

Fu.ck it.  We now need United to either lose two or draw three in seven games.  Won't be easy for us, we need serious snookers now :(

But he blames Rafa in  his refrence, which is typical of him cause he prefers fat sam english manager to rafa.

difrent class finishin, that was the difrence

no it's more than that mate. Reina is a great goalie don't get me wrong but how often does he make an amazing save, normally if a player is through on him one on one you just know the player will score. Reina is a terribel shot blocker, if he could somehow add that to his game I think he would be the best in the world but at the moment that lets him down. In comparision Fabianski made some amazing saves and almost saved Torres's second.

Nonsense.  Can't fault Reina for the goals tonight at all...Arshavin was absolutely brilliant with his placement after being gifted the ball more times than I've ever seen by our lads.  As for Pepe never making a save was the first leg against Chelsea really so long ago that you've forgotten the stop on Drogba?--clear through on goal with only Reina to beat and yet doesn't manage it.  And that's just the most recent example.  Reina's a class keeper and we're lucky to have him.  :nod

Absolutely heartbreaking defeat. Can't fault the lads for their efforts, they ran themselves into the ground and played some breathtaking football going forward. It's easy for some to point the finger at certain players but after that effort I can't bring myself to do it. Football simply kicks you in the nuts sometimes and right now mine are stinging like hell  :(

HAHA.

Is that your phone?

I don't normally react like that. Last time I did something like that was when Eric Cantona scored that that in the final against us 13 years ago. B@stard. I ripped my away shirt off my back and tore the buttons off the front.
