what game were you watching, Mascherano 4? he was immense! appalling mistake though

Reina 2 - worst game in a while
Aurelio 4- back to his usual :censored:

, bring back Insua!
Carra 7 - only half decent defender tonight
Agger 5 - not good for him
Arbelola 4 - below standard
Riera 8 - Played well
Benni 9 - Superb game
Alonso 6 - didn't notice him too much, kind of game where I would have liked to see him take more control
Mascha 5 - One of his worse games
Kuyt 8 - Excellent game for Kuyt some nice touches and vision
Torres 7 - Got some goals but wasn't in superman mode which was what we needed.

wtf are you on about... he gave the ball away a million times and whenever he went forward and got on the ball our attacking play came to an end... head outta ur behind for a sec.... was watching the game with someone who absolutely hates Mascherano and im not exaggerating when i say he was laughing his a$s off everytime Mascherano got on the ball.. mistake was just the icing on a $hitty performance...

Reina (6) nothing he could do for the goals, good distribution.
Arbeloa (5) not bad going forward, sloppy at times in defence, and a terrible mistake for the goal.
Agger(6) Got forward well and was fairly comfortable with Bendtner all game, much better than Skrtel.
Carragher (7) The usual, solid no nonsense
Aurelio (6) Stupid error for the goal, but otherwise decent game.
Kuyt (8) Superb, best ive ever seen him play for liverpool IMO, two great assists and was everywhere.
Mascherano (7) That ridiculous mistake apart was immense, destroyed Arsenal toninght with his constant harrasing of there players.
Alonso (8) The master technician, dominated the centre of the pitch with calm precision i thought.
Riera (7) Not bad, got forward all game and linked well but wasnt as commited as his team mates in his defensive duties.
Benayoun (9) was excellent i thought, intelligent, composed and made things happen all game, took his goals well butfaded in the last 10 mins though
Torres (8) The guy is just the best in the business at leading the line

Subs : Babel(6) added something when he came on, with his direct running, decision making was decent today as well. El Zhar (5) wernt on for long but didnt make use of the ball when it did fall to him.

im not his biggest fan either, but he must of won about 100 tackles tonight, didnt give Arsenal a second to breathe out there.

I'd pretty much agree with those ratings. I'd knock Reira down to a 6 - didn't think he was as influential as he can be on the left.

3 of Arshavin's goals were unstoppable - the third Reina could have possibly saved but it wasn't a mistake to let it in either. He didn't have to make one save. Their keeper made 17 saves. Lets face it - sometimes your luck's not in. We hammered them tonight, especially in the second half. Arshavin had 4 shots all night. He couldn't do that again in a million years - he caught all 4 of them perfectly. We deserved the win and we're just unlucky - there wasn't an Arsenal player who came out with any credit except Arshavin and the keeper. We made 3 terrible errors defensively, completely out of character and they scored from every one.

Bennayoun was superb tonight.

I don't know if anyone has any stats on our success rate from corners but we virtually never seem to score from them - it's something we could improve on.

FFS he couldn't have done much with any of the goals and apart from that he didn't have a save to make. All the goals were mistakes from defenders not the keeper

Heimdall, Bav, seriously this makes no sense at all. Yes, they scored four goals but 3 of them were completely unstoppable - no keeper in the world could have saved them.

Their third goal was close to being unstoppable as well. It wasn't that far out and Arshavin struck it with a lot of power. It would have been an extremley difficult save to make.

Oh your right. This is just me and a kneejerk talking after the game.

But you must agree Arbeloa was rubbish at times? Took too long on the ball and got caught out on more than one occasion.

The only thing that really stands out is the time Arshavin robbed him which led to the goal. I'll admit I wasn't watching him too closely tonight.

thought we played well tonight but made some shocking individual errors like against chelsea, lets face it when a team scores 100per cent of their shots on target you got to give them credit for being clinical, why oh why didnt we use the keane money for arshavin??

Reina -6 , could do nothing about the goals except maybe the 3rd one which had just enough power to push it through .

Arbeloa - 4 , our weakest link in the side , he's too light weight and was :censored:

poor .

Carragher - 6 , played a decent game

Agger - 5 had a easy job of marking bendnter tbh even a blind man could do that . Got forward at times but there was once or twice he nearly got caught in possession as well , needs to know when to bring it up . TBF though maybe he's rusty but i hope he improves on this performance , he's got it in him

Aurelio - 6 , got forward well , made a mistake which in turn we got punished for

Masch -6 , bar the mistake which is the first time i have ever seen him get caught in possession he was great , hassled their players got stuck in .

Alonso - 5 , didn't have the best of games

Kuyt - 9 , what a game by the lad especially with the amount of stick he gets , was everywhere , 2 assists and his passing and vision was top class

Yossi - 8 , apart from the two goals , he was consistently a threat

Riera - 6 , thought he wasn't that good , hardly beat his man in the first half , crosses weren't really all that

Torres - 9 , you just can't mark him , he left toure on his backside , turned silvestre as if he wasn't there

We deffo deserved to win that game , i'll be so happy when we have stevie back for hull
