I think kirk will establish himself as pools no 1 before the end of the season.
He has the presence in goal and is a great shot stopper with much better positionial sence than dudek.
It will take him a while to regain full match fitness, wait for dudeks next mistake (cos there will b one, probably at the near post against united in a couple of weeks time), then kirk will b given a chance and should he stay injury free it will, represent his major opportunity to take no 1 spot with both hands.
Then he can play in a friendly for england and outust james.
