the thing that annoyed me most about drogba is when he was on the floor off the pitch.
he then rolled back on the pitch so the game was stopped!
Pathetic

Yeah I figured that's what he must have been saying. It's a shame becasue he is a good player but when he does this he throws all that out the window.

Good luck to them but it will take something special to beat Barca.

Tonight all of them were at it, Lampard especially, as shameless as drogba. What they cant match in skill they they overwhelm in foul play. Like I said earlier, let them try it against barcelona, they will be out "dived". As proud as I am of the red men, im getting pretty sick of being cheated against. Chelsea have spent a fortune on world class players and still, to this day have to resort to cheating and conning the ref to get results. They must be so proud at that club.

Spot on .............

When they won last week at Anfield I held my hands up and conceded they were the best team. Almost from the 1st minute tonight they were diving, conning, cheating and pressuring the ref.

Watch Drogba go down after an innocuous challenge by Carra and falls (dives) and ends up off the pitch, LFC play on as he isn't on the pitch and he rolls purposefully back onto the field of play to hold the game up............

Gets treatment then 40 seconds later springs full speed toward the Liverpool penalty area.

CHEATING B****** !

Thats probably the worst thing I have ever seen him do. Roll back on the pitch just to stop the game. Can't get lower than that. I really hope we win the league so the lads can have something to show for this year. They have been amazing and deserve to win some silverware.

he hasnt been the same goalkeeper since the major head injury he had in 07.before that he was the best golakeeper in the league and top 3 in the world with buffon and casillas..... and on paper now he is no where as good as pepe.

anyway its over for another year. i hope Barca tw@t then for all their sins tpnight and that the lads regroup and come out swinging for the rest of the run in. What a show of guts tonight, its still bringing a smile to my face thinking about it! It has showed me that for the first time since I was a boy Liverpool are back at the top level of club football. This team just doesnt know when its beat and every side out there should fear them. I hope the Mancs take note of this performance after Porto do them tomorrow evening while are minds are elsewhere.

Justice for the 96. You'll never walk alone

Goodnight all.

I dont think xabi was having a go at him,,

i just think they were discussing when and where, they would swap shirts.

i'm sure when he looks back on this, rafa will be fuming at skrtel not putting a foot out to block drogba's effort,

and fabio not tracking lampards run.
I've watched my Heroes throught the slats at Melwood,,
I've STOOD on the KOP,,
I've cried for the 96 ,,

joe i think that chelsea used the ref to their advantage big time in the 2nd half to win very disputable fouls in dangerous areas, 1 they even scored from. But for me this stop/start tactic negated Liverpools control of the game. And honestly, for Chelseas last goal Drogba PLOUGHED into the back of his marker (cant recall I think it was Carra or Arby) and somehow they won a throw, which they scored from. So in my eyes he made a major difference.

And yes he gave a penalty but it seemed from the moment he did we couldnt get a whistle in our favour

I agree, BUT the referee didn't put the ball in the back of net, Chelsea did, either by mistakes on our part, or on account of their skill (Alex's goal)

We didn't adapt to how the ref was calling the game, but even so it was certainly favored to the home side, but I don't think you can ever BLAME the loss of a referee, unless he gives the other team something like 3 unwarranted penalties.
