One time Pepe had to run to the corner flag to get the ball (they had "sportingly" kicked it there for us )and there was a ball boy there with two balls. That club cheats all the way through.

They were not the better team, a stronger ref and we would have done it. W@nkers

Or that fuc'king kunt diving and feigning injury all the time!
I hope someone breaks his spine someday and he spends his life in a wheelchair wearing a nappy!

We need to make sure we are better prepared next year if we meet them again. Barca should beat them in the semi though.

That and perhaps a 2nd leg at Anfield.

We very nearly done it tonight. Just think we had our skippper out and main striker was not fit. Ive sid it all season, our problem is strength in depth. But take nothing away from the lads tonight they put one one of the best performances ever tonight.

Chelsea Team Statistics Liverpool
4 Goals 4
0 1st Half Goals 2
6 Shots on Target 7
7 Shots off Target 4
4 Blocked Shots 6
4 Corners 4
14 Fouls 29

From Sky website. 29 Fouls and 2 yellow cards? that in itself gives you a good idea of how chelsea "performed".

I hope Utd go through to the semi now. Those extra 2 games should be enough for them to drop the points we need to win number 19.

Stu Averill, a wannabe Scouse/Scot. I remember the good times & have faith in them comin back

Beside the Hillsborough Flame, I heard a Koppite mournin, "Why so many taken on that day?" Justice has never been done. But their memory we'll carry on. There'll be Glory Round The Fields Of Anfield Road

Something good is just round the corner  :)

How fitting the last time we scored 3 goals against Chelsea we won the league xx

burjennio wrote:did hiddinks HT team talk pretty much consist of "right lads, were getting totally outplayed and overran, so every time a red shirt comes within 2 yards of you just throw yourself to the ground, this donkeys buyin it every time"?

the amount of decisions that went against us in the 2nd half was SHOCKING. the were stealing FK after FK around the danger areas and unfortunately got paid off for it. I think Pepe needs a look at himself for the 1st AND 2nd goals. Alexs Free Kick was hardly in the top corner and Reina seemed to be out of position for it. All in all though the lads were magnificent tonight and i thought they were by far the better side and Im serious when i say that if the ref hadnt bought the constant Chelsea gamesmanship we would have went through. Drogba is the disgrace. Did you see him ROLL BACK ONTO THE PITCH when he tripped himself in the 1st half?  Then he wins the throw that led to their last goal by jumping straight into a red shirt and the ref ignores it.

Still proof again that we support the greatest club on earth. They've down us all pround. YNWA

Thats a load of the biggest horseshite I've ever heard, the bit about Reina!
That first goal if you look at it again, the ball was moved just before it was at him,its kinda hard to react so fast in such short time!Any keeper could save it yeah but only by luck!
As for the free kick,WISE UP! It was a fantastic strike(sadly) and unstoppable!

There are no scapegoats tonight..stop looking for one!
The fact is the more we went for it the more they had chances to get at us on the counter!
My only slight regret in hindsight is that maybe we should have slowed it down a bit for the first 10 minutes of the second half. But ya cant blame anyone or our manager for going for it!
