Of course, a right winger should be a priority, I think, so maybe we should be going after someone like Santi Cazorla, Jesus Navas or Kuba instead. Then again, if there really is a chance of getting Silva, I'd be gutted if we didn't go in for him...

LIVERPOOL and Manchester City are ready to make £20million bids for Portsmouth duo Glen Johnson and Peter Crouch.
With Pompey owner Alexandre Gaydamak strapped for cash and looking to sell, it means that the club will struggle to resist big offers for their main stars.
Sunday Express Sport can reveal that Liverpool boss Rafa Benitez is ready to pay up to £20million for England right-back Johnson.
Manchester City manager Mark Hughes, meanwhile, is poised to move in with the same money for striker Crouch, despite his interest in Blackburn striker Roque Santa Cruz.
With the Arab millions at their disposal, there is nothing to stop City snapping up both of them. City believe Crouch has the greater experience and would be tempted by City’s plans and a huge pay packet.
Liverpool could have to sell highly-rated central defender Daniel Agger in the summer with the Dane becoming
increasingly frustrated at the lack of progress over a new contract.
His current deal has just 12 months to run and he admitted: “In my heart I hope I will still be at Liverpool next season but I don’t know. And I don’t know if my contract will be sorted before the end of the season.”

I don't think he is Johnson is worth 20Mil but I would like him in our squad.
