tom cruise is the biggest star of the last twenty years. while i respect him speaking out against the christian nonsense (who believes noah got dinosaurs and humans on an arc) following a science fiction writer has got to follow some flags.

do people really think?

the words of Jesus are great to me but really?

I think you lot follow the media too much.
Everyone slates Tom Cruise and leave alone other Scientologists who actually spread the word more often.

Did people know that the 2 main stars of My Name is Earl and the creater/writer/director are massive into Scientology? Watch the show a little closer... you'll see. But everyone loves the show and the guys so leave them alone.

Plus, Cruiseshould have won a couple of Oscars by now. RainMan he did it, he was betetr than Hoffman, and his part in 4th of July was outstanding.
Overall, leave the guy and his beliefs alone. Are aliens really that weirder than a devine infinintely powerful being, who made the universe in 7 days, made a garden with apples that you shouldnt eat...

It's all down to interpretation

its all down to beliefs is bollox. do protestants believe a man (priest) saying words turns wine into the blood of a man that lived two thousand years ago.

Noah got dinosaurs onto an arc, all bollox,

if you believe the bilble you are a retard and I iwll debate any part with you.

Catholics basically think they can say there sins, do a  rosary and its all good, oh and no condoms (saw that in monty python)
As for the bible. I personally believe the old testament is a moral stance, but the new testament, yeah i believe that. I believe there was a dude, who did some cool sh!t, and some people hit him for it. Whether or not he was the son of god, thats where faith overtakes judgement.

to call someone who believes the bible reatarded... thats just someone with no faith of there own

No, but like i say, I think the old testament is there for morality tales, like Aesops fables if you like. The new stuff i agree with in part but im not jehovahs witness or memeber of the church of jc of latter day saints or any of them.

i beliee theres something out there, moer powerful than us. something we cant comprehend. For now thats all i can say i believe. don't need proof for faith.

dawson, i really don't care about catholic or protestant, that debate is pathetic.

but do you think noah got every specie of animal onto one arc at one time( and dinosaur and human were created in the same seven days)

the whole thing is a nonsense.

jesus word are great, the rest is a nonsense. if you study the old testament, then you will learn wher sodomy comes from.the old testament is ridiculous.

creationists believe the earth is 5000 years old, this has been proven to be wrong yet they continue to believe it. I think this speaks volumes.
I am atheist however if someone proves me wrong beyond any doubt I would change my belief.

its the blind belief in something that is far fetched that staggers me.

if I told you that last night in the pub I met a guy who actually turned water into wine and healed a leper by touching him you would say "feck off peewee you tool", yet some people believe this because its written in a book a few hundred years old.

I can understand people believing in religion even one hundred years ago but now with better education I don't understand people believing, that said the have every right to their belief.

Jesus would have wept at what "religion" was formed and became, "in his name".

He would have been chuffed with the Popes who kicked off the crusades.

Yeah, maybe do a bit of research into something before opening your gob, eh?

Where the f*ck in the bible does it say anything about Noah leading dinosaurs onto an ark? Men didn't even exist when they were around. Anyway, that's an Old Testament fable, or parable. Go do some digging and learning on the meaning of the two. You are not meant to take everything the bible says literally. Like all stories, there is a concept and a moral at the end of it. Take what you will from it, but don't f*cking dare to call a person a retard for having faith in something. Ignorant b@stard.

As for you debating something with me from the book, I wouldn't waste my time. You seem to think that dinosaurs were mentioned in the bible, so that's your debate f*cked straight away.
