Got up nice and early to start the Blackburn Thread, didnt even know it existed before last nights game.  :D  I'm too fond of clicking on "New Posts" instead of perusing the forums (Posh).

However, Blackburn should not need the special care & attention I would normally give a match thread, so it should be in very capable hands regarding the Judge (I'm so patronizing & condescending, I Know. Who do I think I am?)

I AM BERMENSTEIN!!! The match-thread Monster!!!!!

I predict a nervy.......4-0 for us.

Got to concentrate all our efforts on the league now. Just keep the score respectable and avoid defeat possibly at the bridge, to keep our morale high. Because that Chelsea game could knock the steam out of our steamroller.

Anyhow, Chelsea are still hurting over last years final, and you could see they were very Hungry last night. So I predict them to Lift the CL trophy this season, beating Arsenal in the final.

I think SUnderland may get a point against Man Ure this week end. So Smiles could be back on our sad little faces again.

:lookaround  :lookaround  :lookaround

(ps. A big thanks to my legion Army of followers!! We will Conquer!!! )

not good at all, any idea on the seriousness of it?
All round the fields of Anfield Road
Where once we watched the King Kenny play (and could he play!)
Stevie Heighway on the wing
We had dreams and songs to sing

If we do end up going out then I really hope this is the last time we will see Lucas playing for us in Europe. He is rubbish and no where near good enough.

No news reports on Stevie just yet. Arsene Wenger was just saying he thinks we can overturn this too. Come on we can do this! If we score early on it will swing the momentum in our favour. Rafa needs to take advantage of no Terry.

The problem though is Gerrard not being able to get into the game.

Personally, I'd bring in Insua, Agger and Benayoun for this one.

Good call. I thought Insua impressed (again) at Fulham and fully deserves to start. Also with him unfortunatley not being registered for Europe Rafa will almost certainly rest Aurelio. With Agger I don't think we will see him for the rest of the season unless he signs his contract.
