Most of the time we are able to hide our weaknesses not tonight - our ability to defend set pieces was always bad tonight it was terrible - for some reason our early goal gave them motivation and shaken ours...we returned to the same pattern of over tactics and completly forget our form of late.

BTW - Hidink is a superb coach he was more then a match for our bizarre genius (again with Lucas? why not start with Benayoun?).

If a team can return from such a deficit it must be Liverpool.

Back to reality. Owned is an understatement, fcukker Essien was playing like a man possessed and Lampard ran the show. Im shellshocked, but roll on Blackburn, take it out on them.

Hate to admit it but we can have no complaints about the result tonight.  Chelsea were the better side the whole game, despite us going ahead.  They passed it better and Essien did an awsome job on Gerrard to keep him quiet.  Everything went well for Chelsea tonight, sometimes you have to hold your hands up.  We did it to United at Old Trafford, and now we've been on the receiving end.

Obviously it's frustrating to lose two goals from corners, but to be fair Chelsea should have been ahead anyway by then after Drogba squandered two sitters.

The tie is a write off imo, we are unlikely to go there and score 3 goals, but stranger things have happened.  We have to hope that it doesn't affect us too much for the Blackburn game.

This isn't over yet!
there is 90 minutes still to be played.
They have no Terry and we now have mascherano.
If i was rafa i would play agger instead of skrtel as he likes to attack more and we need the goals!
Mascherano can help protect the back line when agger is on a little run.

If we can get a goal in the first half at the bridge and get abit....scrap that.....more then a bit or luck...who knows??

Keep up the faith! no matter how hard it may be!

Come on red men
