Liverpool Football Club - General Discussion

It will be rios first game in eight months and rooneys first for manure the atmosphere is gona be crazy with rooney playing for them the first time cause we know how they all hate scousers lets see how many anti-scouse songs they sing now :D wonder how rio will play bein his first time back in eight months bit rusty I feel. Its gona be a tough one and our team will have to pull there socks up and be fired up to win it just get carra to whisper in the new players ears that they hate scousers an spaniards get them riled
:D

And on another note there was not enough cash for the transfer for cortez but he will be coming in december hes a bit p#ssed off he didnt come why didnt jimi go to everton? we could have bought him then ???
Cortes rues Anfield move collapse

Real Mallorca full-back David Cortes has lamented the failed attempt to take him to Liverpool before Tuesday's transfer deadline.

The 25-year-old had insisted on Tuesday that he was optimistic a deal to take him to Anfield could be thrashed out.

"There is interest, but Liverpool still have not got in contact with the club, so all I can do is wait and see what happens," he told El Diario de Mallorca, although his agent Tente Sanchez was less optimistic.

"If there is still no news, it looks as if it will be complicated for it to happen," Sanchez said at the time.

In the end it was Sanchez who was proved correct, leaving Cortes stranded with the Balearic Islands outfit at least until the transfer market reopens in December.

"Liverpool put the candy very close in front of me. It was a great opportunity, but, for reasons I will never know, I am staying here," said the defender who hinted that the deal failed because the Reds had not managed to offload some of their present playing staff.

"If they had to get rid of a couple of players then they shouldn't have shown interest," he said.

"I'm not going to lose sleep over it between now and December. I've had all pre-season like that so now I am going to concentrate on Mallorca - nothing else."

Cant wait, the theatre of penalties has been my favourite away fixture for a few years now (obviously except when the idiot ref sent Sami off after 3 mins a couple of years ago and we lost a couple of goals to nil).

We need some songs for shrek and the smack head.

By then Nunez will return and our midfield will be looking strong. Can not wait till that game, the day when Manchester United pisses their pants when they face us.

your comments are a joke! your team cant play football to save their life, rafa benitez has already ruined your team by getting rid of all your english players. by the way steven gerrard is your only player who would be good enough to contest for a place in the man utd line up. i think you all mite get a bit of a shock at the theatre of dreams if this is your atitude to manu. If any of you have actually been watching your team you would see my point.

who's this k. n. o. b.

you seem to forget, even with other teams success in the last few years, LFC is still the greatest trophy winning side post war. check your facts matey. As footy fans we appreciate good football, but that doesn't change the fact that not only us, but the rest of other supporters hate manu. it goes with the territory, wake up and smell the coffee? ???? ???
