Would be great if we could steamroll them and there is no reason we can't given we rolled over Utd and Madrid. For me Chelsea are no better than when Scolari was in charge and all our key men are on form - Doss included. Lets make some :censored: history!!!

I think we looked tired on Saturday. The game against Chavski will take a lot out physically and mentally....so I wonder if there'll be enough in the tank to really go for the jugular vs. Blackburn....

We'll probably play almost the same team that beat Real Madrid.

The only players who are playing every 3-4 days have been Torres, Alonso, and Gerrard. Mascherano will be rested as he didn't play Fulham and won't play Chelsea. Riera has been rotated, and Kuyt and Benayoun have shared minutes. The LB has been rotated also.

My worries are especifically Torres and Gerrard, for me the absences we notice most, because I can see our team dominating with a Lucas-Mascherano-Gerrard triangle against not big teams. The absences that we really notice are the Gerrard-Torres ones. And that worries me because they've played internationls, Fulham, most probably Chelsea, and Rafa might be "forced" to rest them sooner or later.

I wouldn't be surprised to see them subbed earlier in the next games if possible.

If Torres is knackered we can play Dossena up front to complete the move from LB.

Andy, have you ever shagged a sheep? ???

I did once when I was offered a skoda for 250 quid, I thought it would be less embarressing getting out of a sheep.  :D

I dunno mate - I dont buy into the rotation/rest thing.

At this stage of the season they should be up for the big games. I know you're not saying they wont be up for it,
but Im sure they can find the energy.

I mean, it's only 90 minutes every 3/4 days isn't it?

Bollox - I thought this was the Chelsea thread..... I shall resume my boycott.

Only professional to - play in goal (41 appearances), Defence, Midfield, Striker, and later be Director and then to be Manager (winning a Championship) - at one club
