Watching the first season of Criminal Minds on DVD at the moment.  It kind of got lost in the post-CSI CBS crime procedural shuffle but it's a very good show.

The latest Supernatural was quality, mate.  A nice bit of comic relief after some heavy episodes and yet still an important point in the overall narrative arc because it gives Dean a timely kick in the a.ss.  Glad that show's righted itself after a wobble.  Maybe Kim Manners' death knocked everyone off their stride.

What did you make of the BSG finale, mate?  I've heard a lot of complaints and I agree that there was some sloppiness in how certain story lines were tied up.  On the other hand, I've felt for a few seasons now that this would more or less be how it ended (the where and, broadly, the when) so was satisfied on that score.

I thought the last half of whole season lost its way a bit Bob, I certainly enjoyed the finale but in the end its always the journey and not the destination which ends up being the important part.

I could have also done without the end coda and lets get rid of all our technology to make the story fit

Yeah, it's a pretty easy thing to pick holes in when you really look at the finale.  I did love some of the effects, though.  The way the Galactica was limboing after that last jump was just awesome and I liked the image of the fleet flying off into the sunset, as it were.  But, Starbuck the angel?  And, 'let's all renounce technology, split up and blend'?  A little far-fetched.  :D

Criminal Minds, Numb3rs and The Mentalist are all class, mate.  I love my crime procedurals and CBS is the king of them at the moment.  There's interesting parallels between CM and the Mentalist too.  Criminal Minds is a much darker take on things.  The Mentalist has a high smarm factor, which totally works.  :nod

Have you seen any eleventh hour?
New drama with Rufus Sewell, apparently by the people who made csi, without a trace and cold case... meant to be good, and dark. And Rufus Sewell is a class actor

Not yet, I haven't.  Too many good shows on that moment and not enough hours in the evening to watch them all.  I'll catch that one on DVD or on re-runs this summer.

I hate that you can only record 2 at a time as well.

Have watched all of Mentalist and Eleventh Hour. Both Brilliant. I believe 11th hour used to be a British show first though. Staring Patrick Stewart.

Supernatural Season 4 draws too a close.

And god damn it's been one hell of a ride  :buttrock.

Sam is changing beyond all recognition the deamon blood seems to have almost taken him over
no thanks to that evil b1tch ruby.

Dean is on a higher path and will cause absolute mayhem when the time comes to stop the apocalypse,
Cas has changed, he's more badass than ever and will surely take the humans side when the time comes
to make the choice.

Anna i think is brown bread, and Uriel well had a revolation while getting his throat
taken out by Anna, top class.

The boys are gonna have thier own gospel, and gods newest prophet is a proper dosser :D .

Sorry i'm just on a rant none of which makes sense, but role on friday  :bowdown
